Include background-job ends in subagent row bounds when the job outlives the agent's last completed turn.

A background job can end after its subagent's last completed turn and tool. The launch tool closes when the job starts, so it does not cover the job's tail. When the job end comes from a stranded failure, the row's life bounds stop at that completed turn. The job still adds coverage to toolTime, so the row and the total can disagree. An open turn with no end is drawn to now, so this case does not clip the row.

Extend only the drawing bounds for that agent. Leave the life map unchanged, because waits reads life[k] for child agents.

Suggested fix

+			if !known {
+				l, known = j, true
+				continue
+			}
+			l = [2]time.Time{tlMinTime(l[0], j[0]), tlMaxTime(l[1], j[1])}
+		}

Review comment at @cmd/agentop/tui/timeline_layout.go at line 568:
Extend the subagent row’s drawing bounds around the life[a.ID] lookup by merging
in each background job interval from js, so the row reaches jobs that outlast
the agent’s last completed turn or tool. Keep this adjustment local to drawing
bounds and leave life unchanged for waits.

suggestion: There's an unmentioned priority change here. A job used to sit in subs, which is taken after retry. Now it's taken before it, so a background job running across a failed-call retry gap paints that gap amber and the red disappears.

I checked this with sampleTimeline() plus a job from 850s to 1000s. The cell at 930s (inside the 900–960s resent gap) goes from {retry:1} to {tool:1}. Users read red as "the model host is failing". A long-running run_in_background job (a dev server or a watch) is exactly the case where it would hide that for the whole session.

That may be intended, since foreground tools also outrank retry. If so, a line in the comment/README and a test pinning it would help. If not, take retry before jobs (tool, model, retry, job, subs, user). That keeps "a job hides no model" and keeps failures visible.

s.tool += job
// Only the marker of a collapsed gap is drawn; the cells either side share its span,
// so counting them would take the stretch off the column more than once.
if !cell.gap || cell.marker {
row.toolTime += time.Duration(job * span)

nit: CodeRabbit's double-count point is real, but it's only the per-cell coarseness you already describe under Known limit. t and jobs are separate ivs, so in a boundary cell where a foreground tool overlaps a job, the job takes left and not the uncovered part. A 3s Bash inside an 8s job in one 10s cell adds 7s, where the union would add 5s. Whole cells covered by a foreground tool leave left == 0, so the error stays bounded to about one cell per overlap edge, and the bar agrees with the number. I wouldn't block on this. If you want it exact later, run cover on newIvs(append(tool, js...)) for the cell's tool share and use the remainder after that for the job.

}
s.retry, s.subs, s.user = take(retry), take(subs), take(user)
row.cells[c] = s
