Strip a trailing \r in lineScan.next. CRLF streams never flush a frame.

next drops only the \n (sse.go:243). A CRLF line keeps its \r. bufio.ScanLines removes that \r, and the lineScan doc comment describes the scanner-equivalence as "one difference that matters here," so the \r handling is not covered by that description.

With CRLF framing, the blank separator line reaches parseSSE as "\r", not "". That value does not match the line == "" case (sse.go:197), so it falls into default and flush() never runs. Each data: value also keeps its \r, and the values accumulate in dataBuf across frames. No event is published for the rest of that connection, and dataBuf grows for the same period.

The server in this repository writes LF only. core/sessionapi/server.go:580 sets Content-Type: text/event-stream, and a search for CRLF in core/sessionapi returned no matches. The impact therefore applies to intermediaries that rewrite line endings to CRLF.

The fix is one line. The io.EOF path with a final unterminated line also reaches the return at sse.go:272, so it is covered.

Review comment at @cmd/agentop/apiclient/sse.go at line 272:
Update lineScan.next to remove a trailing carriage return from each returned
line, including the final unterminated line, while preserving the existing
truncated status and error behavior.
