Support and feedback

Use GitHub Issues for reproducible defects and GitHub Discussions for questions, ideas and community help. OSPy also provides a Feedback page that can prepare an Issue without storing a GitHub access token.

Before asking for help

  1. Check the Changelog and confirm whether the problem is already fixed in the current stable release.
  2. Open OSPy Diagnostics and review system health, plug-in health and relevant logs.
  3. Record the OSPy version, update channel, Python version, operating-system version and affected plug-in version.
  4. Write the exact steps that reproduce the problem and the expected and actual result.
  5. Remove passwords, API keys, access tokens, private URLs and other secrets from screenshots and logs.

Where to report

  • OSPy Issues — core application, installer, web interface, scheduler, stations, sensors, API and mobile integration
  • OSPy-plugins Issues — an individual official plug-in
  • OSPy Discussions — questions, ideas and design discussion
