Official OSPy plug-ins

The official OSPy-plugins repository contains the maintained collection used by OSPy's plug-in manager. Its generated catalog lists every plug-in directly from plugin.json, including its current version and short description.

Install from OSPy

  1. Open Plugins.
  2. Select Manage.
  3. Select Install New Plugin.
  4. Use the official GitHub repository or upload a trusted custom ZIP.
  5. Review compatibility, dependencies, hardware conflicts and requested permissions before approving activation.

The stable plug-in channel follows master. The optional test channel follows beta and may contain unfinished changes. A plug-in update is activated only when its compatibility and required dependencies are satisfied.

Manifest information

Every official plug-in provides plugin.json metadata such as name, version, description, author, license, OSPy/Python requirements, dependencies, hardware resources and permissions. OSPy displays this information before installation or activation. Permissions are administrator consent and an audit record; they are not an operating-system sandbox.

Find the right plug-in

The catalog includes hardware drivers, sensors, water and energy monitoring, safety controls, notification channels, automation, MQTT/Home Assistant, Shelly integrations, database logging, backup and system maintenance. Open a plug-in name in the generated table to read its detailed README.

Report a plug-in problem

Use the OSPy-plugins issue tracker. Include the OSPy version, plug-in version, Python version, operating system, relevant Diagnostics output and exact reproduction steps, but remove passwords, API keys, tokens and private addresses.
