The spec and both editor boards have a Linked tool, but neither editor had it: linked clips could only be taken apart by deleting one. Linked unlinks the selected clip, or, on a clip with no links, links it with the clip tapped next. On the tablet toolbar it is lit while the clip is linked, as on the TabletEditor board. The spec lists Linked among the clip tools and in the tablet toolbar, and both editor boards show it, but neither editor had it. Linked clips (a caption and its source, a detached sound and its video) could only be taken apart by deleting one.

Both are one undo step:

Checked on the emulator (phone): selected a title, Linked, tapped another title. The second one got the partners' dashed outline, and the project file has the new link group. Linked again unlinked it. Two undos brought the project back exactly.
Tests:
LinkCommandsTest: unlinking lets a clip stay when its old partner moves; linking joins both groups and moves them together; a clip can't be linked with itself. Tablet editor screenshots recorded again for the new toolbar button.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
