i18n(scp): the SCP provider's strings in all 47 languages - #1485
The user-facing strings of the SCP provider (#1483), in English and the 46 other locales, plus the regenerated scripts/i18n-former-english.json ledger. It lands as its own PR because #1483 with its locale files came to 119 files, over CodeRabbit's limit of 100.
The strings
Key
English
protocol.scpDesc, protocol.discoverScp
SSH file copy; SSH file copy for servers without SFTP
protocol.scpTooltip, protocol.scpOnlyNote
SCP over SSH, for servers that have no SFTP; use it only for servers without SFTP, for example OpenWrt routers
the "Allow SCP fallback" option: if the server has no SFTP, continue over SCP on the same connection, as WinSCP does
toast.scpModeTitle, toast.scpModeBody
the note shown when a session goes on over SCP
properties.checksumCaveats.scp-shell-digests
the hash-method label for digests computed on the server with sha256sum or md5sum
introHub.list.customScp
the SCP label among custom profiles
speedTest.unsupportedProvider
the Speed Test's list of supported protocols now names SCP
Nothing reads the new keys until #1483 merges. The one changed string is the Speed Test list, which names SCP from this PR on; #1483 is meant to merge right after it.
Checks
On this branch: i18n:validate, i18n:diacritics, i18n:untranslated, i18n:contamination and i18n:stale-english pass, the ledger was regenerated with --write, and the frontend suite passes (326 files, 3164 tests). The keys and their translations are the same as on #1483's head 256076caa; the diff was applied onto current main and nothing else changed.

Summary by CodeRabbit
Localization
Added SCP-related translations across numerous languages, covering connection status, server discovery, fallback settings, and provider lists.
Added guidance on remote checksum availability when the required utilities are installed.
Some translations now include SCP in the Speed Test provider information; the English message remains unchanged.
Integration update: main through #1467 is merged normally. The only conflict was the former-English ledger hash; both histories were retained and the canonical generator was run, with a second post-merge run producing no change. All 11 SCP-related values from the twice-reviewed head remain identical across all 47 locales. Translation validation, stale-English, diacritics, untranslated and diff checks pass. This PR still changes only translation resources and the ledger; it adds no SCP implementation. Fresh PR Actions validates this integrated head.
The strings the SCP provider (#1483) shows: its name and description in the protocol list and the Discover panel, the "Allow SCP fallback" option and its hint, the note shown when a session goes on over SCP, the hash-method label for the remote sha256sum/md5sum digests, and SCP in the Speed Test's list of supported protocols.
They land on their own because #1483 with them is over CodeRabbit's file limit. Nothing reads the new keys until #1483 merges; the one changed string is the Speed Test list, which names SCP from this commit on. i18n:validate, diacritics, untranslated, contamination and stale-english pass, the ledger is regenerated with --write, and the frontend suite passes (3164 tests).

Walkthrough
Locale files add SCP connection, fallback, discovery, checksum, and custom-provider text. Some locales update the Speed Test provider message to include SCP. The former-English catalog adds a provider message and updates its stored English-string hash.
Changes: SCP and Speed Test translations
Layer / File(s)
Summary
SCP and provider localization src/i18n/locales/*.json, scripts/i18n-former-english.json
Locale files add SCP descriptions, connection notices, fallback settings, service-discovery labels, remote checksum guidance using sha256sum or md5sum, and SCP custom-provider labels. Some locales add SCP to the Speed Test provider message. The former-English catalog adds a provider message and updates its stored English-string hash.
The localization changes are mergeable with normal checks. Keep the documented merge order so SCP functionality and its advertised Speed Test support ship together.

## Test Requirements
All pull requests should include tests for new features and bug fixes where applicable:
- **Backend (Rust)**: Add unit tests in `#[cfg(test)]` modules. Run with `cargo test` from the `src-tauri/` directory.
- **Security checks**: Run `npm run security:regression` to verify security invariants.
- **i18n**: Run `npm run i18n:validate` to ensure every translation key in the English reference (`en.json`) is present in all 46 translation locales (the tool reports `46/46`).
- **Type checking**: Run `npx tsc --noEmit` to verify TypeScript types.

Learning: In axpdev-lab/aeroftp, scripts/i18n-stale-english.mjs computes the enHash in scripts/i18n-former-english.json from flattened dotted-key translations, not the full src/i18n/locales/en.json document. readLocale() flattens the document's translations object; enHash(map) hashes JSON.stringify(Object.keys(map).sort().map((k) => [k, map[k]])) with SHA-256. Hash verification must exclude meta and use the same flattening and sorting contract.

…t SFTP
A server with SSH but no SFTP subsystem was a dead end: OpenWrt's Dropbear without `sftp-server`, an OpenSSH without its `Subsystem sftp` line, a subsystem that points at a missing program. AeroFTP spoke only SFTP there, while WinSCP falls back to SCP, on by default. AeroFTP now does the same.
- `ScpProvider`: list, stat, mkdir, delete, rename, chmod, upload and download with progress, on one authenticated SSH connection. Every operation is a POSIX shell command with each path single-quoted; listings use `ls --full-time` and `find -print0`, so BusyBox, GNU and uutils all work.
- SFTP fallback: an SFTP profile whose server refuses the subsystem, or ends it at once, goes on with SCP on the same connection: no second login, and the host key verified once, against `known_hosts` as for SFTP. It is on by default ("Allow SCP fallback" in the connection settings, `--no-scp-fallback` in the CLI); with it off, the error names the cause and the way out. A server with SFTP stays SFTP.
- SCP is also a protocol of its own (GUI, CLI `scp://`, MCP, saved profiles), with the settings of an SFTP profile. WinSCP import keeps SCP sessions as SCP.
- An account that allows no useful command (rssh, scponly) gets an error that says so. `scp://` URLs are redacted like `sftp://`, and no password, passphrase or key reaches the logs.
- Tests: an in-process russh server that runs each command in a shell as a router's BusyBox does, with SFTP refused, ended at once or served; a CI job against the stock OpenWrt image, pinned by digest. The GUI strings, in every locale, are in #1485.

…it over SCP
SCP now offers the operations it was missing next to SFTP, each built from POSIX tools the server already has and offered only when the probe found them.
- Resume: an interrupted download goes on from its partial file (the server seeks with `dd bs=1 skip=N count=0` and streams the rest with `cat` or `head -c`); the partial is matched to the source by size and time, as for the other protocols. An interrupted upload goes on by appending (`cat >>`) from the remote file's real size, falls back to a full upload when the remote is missing, empty or longer, and checks the final size.
- Replace: `mv -f` from the staged name; a folder occupant is refused across kinds exactly as the other providers refuse it, and a symlink occupant is replaced, not followed.
- Free space from `df -Pk`, search with `find -print0` (stopped at 500 hits), MD5 next to SHA-256 (`md5sum`), and the speed test accepts SCP.
- The speed limit applies to SCP transfers both ways, and an SFTP connection that goes on over SCP keeps the limit it had.
- A server that closes the SFTP channel during the handshake (russh reports SendError/RecvError) is now read as a server without SFTP, like one that ends the subsystem at once: the fallback no longer depends on which side noticed first.
- The SCP checksum caveat has its own wording, and the "transfers cannot be resumed" sentence is gone from the SCP notice and tooltip (both strings in #1485) and from the CLI note.
- Tests: the fake GNU server covers replace across kinds, df, digests, find, interrupted download and upload with the limit pacing them, and SFTP in SCP mode; the stock OpenWrt container (BusyBox, Dropbear) runs the same operations. The log-capture test runs alone in a child process: with a lone thread-local subscriber, tracing caches a call site reached first by another test's thread as "never", and the capture came back empty once in four runs.

What this is
The user-facing strings of the SCP provider (#1483), in English and the 46 other locales, plus the regenerated
scripts/i18n-former-english.jsonledger. It lands as its own PR because #1483 with its locale files came to 119 files, over CodeRabbit's limit of 100.The strings
protocol.scpDesc,protocol.discoverScpprotocol.scpTooltip,protocol.scpOnlyNoteprotocol.allowScpFallback,protocol.allowScpFallbackHinttoast.scpModeTitle,toast.scpModeBodyproperties.checksumCaveats.scp-shell-digestsintroHub.list.customScpspeedTest.unsupportedProviderNothing reads the new keys until #1483 merges. The one changed string is the Speed Test list, which names SCP from this PR on; #1483 is meant to merge right after it.

Summary by CodeRabbit
Integration update: main through #1467 is merged normally. The only conflict was the former-English ledger hash; both histories were retained and the canonical generator was run, with a second post-merge run producing no change. All 11 SCP-related values from the twice-reviewed head remain identical across all 47 locales. Translation validation, stale-English, diacritics, untranslated and diff checks pass. This PR still changes only translation resources and the ledger; it adds no SCP implementation. Fresh PR Actions validates this integrated head.
