fix(providers): a chunked upload of Drive, OneDrive or B2 refuses a file that changed (Requested 114) - #1463
#1438 made Azure, Box, Dropbox, Drime and the batch multipart path refuse to commit a file that changed while it was read, so it is never published as a mixture of two versions. This row checks the other chunked paths.
What each one does
Google Drive, resumable upload, and OneDrive, session upload: had the gap, because the last chunk commits the file. They now check before sending it, and OneDrive releases the session.
B2 large file: had the gap. It now checks before b2_finish_large_file, and the existing error path cancels the upload.
All three check that the size matches the size the upload was planned for, so a file that grew between the plan and the check cannot go up cut short and pass.
Limits
A single-request upload, such as OneDrive or Drive under the chunk threshold, Yandex or WebDAV PUT, has no point before the server commits, so a file rewritten during that one request is not caught here.
OneDrive resuming from an offset cannot check the bytes sent by an earlier run: it checks only from when this run started.
Tests
New: Google Drive and OneDrive against a mock server that rewrites the file during the first chunk (the committing chunk never leaves, and OneDrive's session is deleted), and the size check. No such test for B2: the check is there, and it is covered only by clippy and the existing B2 suite. Provider suites and clippy. Not run against real accounts. The CodeRabbit CLI found the size gap in the first version, fixed here.

Bug Fixes
Large-file uploads now check that the local file’s size and contents remain consistent during upload. If the file changes, the upload stops with an error instead of sending the final chunk or completing with potentially inconsistent data.
When a OneDrive upload is interrupted by a detected file change, its upload session is removed when possible.
…ile that changed (Requested 114)
A file rewritten while its chunks went up was published as a mixture of two versions. The check Azure, Box, Dropbox and Drime already make now runs before the last chunk on Google Drive and OneDrive, whose last chunk commits, and before the finish on B2. OneDrive releases the session.

Upload providers now validate the local source size before upload and check that the source remains unchanged before completion. B2, Google Drive, and OneDrive stop completion when validation fails. OneDrive also best-effort deletes its upload session. Tests cover the size check and provider upload changes.
The B2 upload checks source size before starting and checks for changes before finishing. A failed final check follows the existing cancellation path.
Google Drive and OneDrive resumable validation src-tauri/src/providers/google_drive.rs, src-tauri/src/providers/onedrive.rs
Both providers check source size before uploading chunks and check for changes before the final chunk. Regression tests verify that a changed source prevents completion. OneDrive also deletes the upload session on failure.
axpdev-lab/aeroftp#1438: Introduced UploadSource and source-change checks for chunked uploads in other providers.
Merge Risk: Low · previous review 83139
The new checks prevent changed sources from completing on the updated upload paths. Drive can leave incomplete sessions behind when validation fails, but these expire without publishing a file. The change is mergeable with bounded cleanup follow-up; existing multipart-path gaps remain separate follow-ups.

Explanation
The title names the affected providers (Drive, OneDrive, B2) and the core behavior: a chunked upload refuses a file that changed during the upload. The changeset matches this: each provider observes the source, checks size and unchanged state before the committing step, and the shared upload_source.rs adds an ensure_size check. The title is a single sentence and identifies the main change. The trailing '(Requested 114)' is a tracker reference, not descriptive content, and it adds noise, but it does not make the title unrelated or vague.

Add a source check to the Drive multipart path before the closing part.
On the multipart route, the final part PUT completes the Drive file. Files at or above the Drive multipart threshold take this route (src-tauri/src/transfer_dag/builder.rs:344-352). begin_multipart_upload ignores _local_source_path (src-tauri/src/providers/google_drive.rs:3088-3094). upload_part_body sends each part without a source check (google_drive.rs:3138). The single-file runner dispatches parts without one. VerifyChecksum runs only after the last part (builder.rs:387, builder.rs:1868). If the local file changes during the upload, the closing part can publish mixed old and new bytes before the check runs.
The legacy upload loop observes the source, checks its size, and calls ensure_unchanged before its final chunk (google_drive.rs:1769-1770, google_drive.rs:1788). The multipart path has no equivalent check.
Add an equivalent source observation and change check to the multipart path before the closing part is sent.
This behavior predates this PR. The PR adds the checks only to the legacy upload loop, and the multipart path is unchanged.
Note: this behaviour predates this PR (already present at merge base 62db9920f8c0); the change keeps it reachable.

src-tauri/src/providers/onedrive.rs:2680-2681 Major · Data Integrity & Integration · Heavy lift
Check the local source before the OneDrive closing PUT on the multipart path.
begin_multipart_upload takes _local_source_path and does not read it (src-tauri/src/providers/onedrive.rs:2828-2843). upload_part_body sends each part at its own offset with a Content-Range header and calls no source check (onedrive.rs:2878-2928). The part whose end equals meta.total is the closing PUT, and it finalizes the upload. If the local file changes between part reads, the closing PUT can finalize bytes from different versions.
The batch runner calls ensure_unchanged only after every part has been uploaded, including the closing PUT (src-tauri/src/transfer_dag_batch.rs:1875-1888). A detected change is reported as an error only after the remote file is already finalized.
The source checks added in this PR run only in resume_upload (onedrive.rs:2680-2681 and 2751). They do not cover the multipart path, which this PR leaves unchanged. This behavior predates the change.
Note: this behaviour predates this PR (already present at merge base 62db9920f8c0); the change keeps it reachable.

Update the multipart upload flow in begin_multipart_upload and upload_part_body
to retain and check the local source before sending the part whose end equals
meta.total. Use UploadSource validation to reject a changed source before the
closing PUT finalizes the remote file.
Check the error variant and size text in the ensure_size refusal test.
an_upload_planned_for_another_size_is_refused only checks that ensure_size(4, "test") returns an error. A change to the returned ProviderError variant, or to the size message, still passes. a_size_change_is_refused_and_named covers the marker and size text, but it calls ensure_unchanged, not ensure_size.

Review comment at @src-tauri/src/providers/upload_source.rs at line 142:
Strengthen the `an_upload_planned_for_another_size_is_refused` test for
`ensure_size` by asserting the returned error is `ProviderError::TransferFailed`
and its message includes the expected size-change text for 4 becoming 5, rather
than checking only that an error occurred.
Add a B2 test for a source change before b2_finish_large_file.
The new ensure_unchanged call at src-tauri/src/providers/b2.rs:1339 runs after all parts upload and before b2_finish_large_file. No B2 test changes the source file during an upload, so removing this call leaves the B2 suite passing. A regression could then finish a large file whose parts came from two versions of the source.
Add a test that changes the source while the b2_upload_part response is served. The current provider_for_large_copy helper cannot do this as written: its call sites pass only an operation name, a count, and an optional failing part number, so it has no source path. Extend the helper with a hook that receives the source path and runs when b2_upload_part is handled. The hook should write content of a different length, so the size check fails regardless of modification-time granularity. The source is read before the part request, so a write during the response happens after the read.
The test should assert:
b2_finish_large_file is not called.
b2_cancel_large_file is called once.
Without the check, the mock's finish handler returns 200, so the finish assertion fails. The test therefore detects removal of the check.

Review comment at @src-tauri/src/providers/b2.rs at line 1339:
Add a B2 regression test around `ensure_unchanged` before
`b2_finish_large_file`: extend `provider_for_large_copy` with a hook that
receives the source path and runs while handling `b2_upload_part`, then use it
to replace the source with content of a different length. Assert that
`b2_finish_large_file` is not called and `b2_cancel_large_file` is called once.
Cover the modification-time check in the Drive upload test.
The regression test rewrites the file to 11 * 1024 * 1024 + 1 bytes, which changes its size. The size branch of ensure_unchanged rejects that rewrite before the modification-time comparison runs. If the Drive call site were changed to a size-only check, this test would still pass. No provider-level test exercises the modification-time branch for Drive. The helper unit test covers that branch only in isolation.
Add a sibling test that keeps the file size and changes only the modification time. Apply this change to a copy of the existing test and give the copy a new name:
The copy keeps the 11 MiB fixture and the assertion that exactly one chunk request is sent. The size check passes. The modification-time check then fails, and the committing chunk is not sent.

Review comment at @src-tauri/src/providers/google_drive.rs at line 3350:
Copy the existing Drive upload regression test and give the copy a distinct
name. Keep the rewritten file at the same 11 MiB size, then set its modification
time to a later value so the size check passes and the modification-time check
rejects the upload; assert the error reports that the modification time moved
and preserve the assertion that exactly one chunk request is sent.
Add a same-size rewrite case to the OneDrive session upload test.
The existing test at onedrive.rs:3452 rewrites big.bin with 11 MiB + 1 byte. Because the size changes, a size-only check would also refuse the upload, so this test cannot tell the two checks apart. Replacing the final-chunk ensure_unchanged call at onedrive.rs:2751 with a size-only check would pass this test. The modification-time branch is covered only by the unit test in upload_source.rs, which calls ensure_unchanged directly and does not exercise the provider call site.
Add a variant that keeps the size at 11 MiB and changes only the modification time. Set the modification time to a fixed later value so the test is deterministic. Assert that resume_upload returns an error, that exactly one PUT /session is recorded, and that DELETE /session is recorded. The existing test already makes these assertions for the size-changing case. The helper that restores a file's size and modification time is used in the upload_source.rs unit tests. Its visibility to the OneDrive tests is not established, so the test may need to set the modification time directly.
