fix(webdav): MEGAcmd 2.6 served path, no base entry in listings - #1348
Conversation
Two fixes found by a live run against MEGAcmd 2.6 (Requested 87 on the 4.2.5 tracker). MEGAcmd 2.6 serves the account below the server root, at `/<handle>/Cloud%20Drive` (`mega-webdav /` prints `Serving via webdav /: http://127.0.0.1:4443/<handle>/Cloud%20Drive`). A profile aimed at the root could list but not create a folder: MKCOL answered 404. The connect already runs `mega-webdav /` to start the bridge; it now keeps the URL that command prints, and when the profile points at the root of that same server (same scheme, host and port, empty path) it connects to the served path for the session. The saved profile is not rewritten, and a profile with a path of its own, another host or port, or an older MEGAcmd that serves the root keeps its URL. This reached the CLI, MCP and AeroAgent; the GUI already adopted the served URL in the frontend before connecting (#215). The PROPFIND parser compared each decoded href with a base URL it had not decoded, so a base whose path carries escapes (`/my%20dav`, `/caf%C3%A8/dav`, MEGAcmd's `/<handle>/Cloud%20Drive`) never matched its own self-reference, relative or absolute, and the root listing showed the base as an entry of itself (`Cloud Drive` in the GUI on MEGAcmd 2.6). The base URL is now decoded once before every comparison. This applies to every WebDAV server with an escaped base path. Tests seen red before the fixes: the_root_listing_under_an_escaped_base_skips_the_base_itself and listings_under_an_escaped_base_have_no_phantom_and_no_lost_entry (relative and absolute hrefs, bases with %20 and %C3%A8, root and an encoded subfolder). New: parses_the_served_path_in_every_megacmd_26_form, a_root_profile_moves_to_the_served_path_and_nothing_else_does, a_base_with_an_escaped_space_keeps_it_and_encodes_only_the_path. - Line 3358: Preserve the original profile URL separately from the mutable
served URL in the WebDAV provider, and use that original URL for served-base
selection on each connect. Update the connect flow around megacmd_served_base so
reconnects can select the bridge’s current served path instead of probing a
stale path.

Review finding on #1348: after the first connect moved the session to the served path, `config.url` held that path, so a reconnect of the same provider (the GUI's silent reconnect calls `connect()` again) saw a profile with a path of its own and kept probing the old path when the bridge had moved, for example after another account logged in to MEGAcmd. The provider now keeps the URL the profile was saved with (`profile_url`, taken in the constructor), and `megacmd_session_url` chooses on every connect from it: the path the bridge serves now, or the profile's own URL when the bridge serves the root again. When `mega-webdav /` prints no URL the session keeps the one it has, and a profile with a path of its own is never moved. Test seen red before the fix, with the helper still choosing from the session's URL: a_reconnect_follows_the_path_the_bridge_serves_now (it stayed on the first served path). Two WebDAV fixes found by a live run against MEGAcmd 2.6 (Requested 87 on the 4.2.5 tracker #1318).
GUI: the PROPFIND fix removes the phantom
Cloud Driveroot entry; the served-path connect already happened in the frontend since #215. CLI / MCP / AeroAgent: both fixes; the 404 on MKCOL was theirs.MEGAcmd 2.6 serves the account below the server root
mega-webdav /now printsServing via webdav /: http://127.0.0.1:4443/<handle>/Cloud%20Drive. A profile aimed athttp://127.0.0.1:4443/could list, butMKCOLanswered 404, so no folder could be created.ensure_megacmd_webdav_bridge(run on every MEGAcmd connect to start the bridge) now returns the URL that command prints.megacmd_served_basemoves the connection to that URL only when the profile points at the root of the same server (same scheme, host and port, empty path). A profile with a path of its own, another host or port, or an older MEGAcmd that serves the root keeps its URL.WebDavProvider::connect()and applies to the session only; the saved profile is never rewritten. The GUI resolves the served URL in the frontend before
provider_connect(App.tsx,mega_webdav_url, #215), which is why it was not affected; the CLI (create_and_connect_with), the MCP pool and AeroAgent'screate_temp_providergo straight toProviderFactory::createandconnect().PROPFIND: a base with escapes listed itself
parse_propfind_responsedecoded each href but compared it with a base URL it had not decoded. A base whose path carries escapes (/my%20dav,/caf%C3%A8/dav, MEGAcmd's/<handle>/Cloud%20Drive) never matched its own self-reference, relative or absolute (MEGAcmd sends absolute hrefs), so the root listing showed the base as an entry of itself. The base URL is now decoded once before every comparison. This applies to every WebDAV server with an escaped base path, and it is what showedCloud Drivein the GUI on MEGAcmd 2.6.Checks
