Problem

Teams in the sandbox sender trial need to see that PostHog gives them a sender, and that it only reaches their own organization's verified members.
The layer below (SP1a) creates the managed sender through the API only. Nothing provisions it for a team or shows it.
This PR replaces the Channels part of feat(workflows): offer the sandbox sender in workflow email steps #450. Ticket: Silthus/personal#200.

Stack

Slice V1 of the sandbox sender rollout: a team sends a test email from the sandbox sender to verified members of its organization. Slice order: feat(workflows): restrict sandbox email to verified org members #594 → feat(workflows): route sandbox email through its fixed ses identity #599 → feat(workflows): cap sandbox sends per project and recipient each day #604 → feat(workflows): provision a managed sandbox email sender #601 → feat(workflows): show the managed sandbox sender in channels #602 → feat(workflows): test templates with the sandbox sender #628.
Base: workflows-sandbox-product/sender-row (feat(workflows): provision a managed sandbox email sender #601). Lands after feat(workflows): provision a managed sandbox email sender #601 and every PR below it.
Production lines: 371 (tests, stories, generated types, migrations and docs excluded).
Rebuilt on 2026-10-28 on the current master, in the new slice order. No change to its own lines.
V1 opens as 5 PRs, feat(workflows): restrict sandbox email to verified org members #594 to feat(workflows): show the managed sandbox sender in channels #602, to stay inside the stack-depth limit. feat(workflows): test templates with the sandbox sender #628 opens after feat(workflows): restrict sandbox email to verified org members #594 lands.
Lane gate on ed38f61eaff: frontend typecheck has no errors in the stack's files (the remaining errors also occur on master), oxlint and oxfmt clean, touched Jest suites 47 passed. Review: GPT-6.1 Sol through a delegated review of the restack (each PR's diff, its conflict resolutions, the slice seams and the save gate), no findings.
Proof on ed38f61eaff, 2026-10-28: live run and UI walk below. Proof gate: fails only on the fork-only ci gap (exit 3); every other check passes.

Impact

Pays into Workflows activation through the sandbox funnel step: a flagged team now gets a working sender row on first visit to Channels.

integrationsLogic is shared by every integrations surface. Its lists now read a userManagedIntegrations selector that drops the sandbox row, and its load-failure state moved into it.
Limited by: provisioning and the row only run with workflows-sandbox-sender; without a sandbox row the new selectors return the same list as before; logic tests cover provisioning, retries and the setup guide.

Changes

A flagged project opening Workflows › Channels gets its sandbox sender, then sees a "Sandbox sender" row below the channel grid.
Channels logic asks the idempotent endpoint once per visit, and again when the flag arrives late. A response from an earlier visit is dropped. integrationsLogic only derives lists and does not provision.
The row shows the sender name and address, says it delivers only to verified members of the organization, and offers "Add your own sender".
When provisioning fails, Channels shows the error with "Try again".
When a refresh of the channel list fails after a first load, the grid stays and a "Couldn't refresh your channels" line offers "Try again". A first-load failure shows the API's error in the banner.
The own-sender lists (Channels email list, integration lists, domain grouping) leave the sandbox row out.
The messaging setup guide and the onboarding wizard no longer count the sandbox row as a connected email channel or a verified domain.
Mechanical: the flag constant and a story.

With the flag off, Channels looks the same as on master.

How did you test this code?

Live run on the slice tip

Live run of the V1 tip 1c08de0b9b4 on a PostHog preview. Stubs: a local SES endpoint that records each call, and example.com seeded as a valid MX domain.
Channels created the sandbox sender. A test send to a verified member was accepted and reached SES with the sandbox tenant, its configuration set, the fixed From address and the footer.
A test send to an address outside the organization was skipped before SES.

Lane gate on the head:

Typecheck (pnpm --filter=@posthog/frontend typescript:check): no errors.
Frontend: lib/integrations, the Workflows Channels suites and the setup guide suites: 209 passed. channelCatalogLogic.test.ts passed twice more after the final review fix (6 passed each run).
Python types (uv run mypy --cache-fine-grained .): no issues, on the stack head.
Pre-push hogli ci:preflight --strict: 0 failures.
CI: not run. Fork CI cannot run because the fork lacks the GitHub App secret.

Test rationale:

channelCatalogLogic.test.ts: Channels sets up the sender once at mount or when the flag arrives late, exposes a 404 or 500 for retry, and keeps a list-load failure separate from a sandbox failure. It also renders the stale-refresh line and the retry banner.
channelCatalogLogic.test.ts "ignores a setup failure from an earlier visit after Channels opens again": the first request fails after a remount. Without the breakpoint() after the request, the new visit shows the old error.
integrationsLogic.test.ts "sandbox email sender": a failed list load stays unresolved, and the own-sender lists drop the sandbox row with the flag on or off.
workflowsOnboardingWizardLogic.test.ts: with only the sandbox sender, the guide and wizard leave the channel and domain steps open. It failed before the fix, with both steps done.

Proof (fleet proof, on a preview of this head):

UI walk: the screenshot above, with the flag on. The row shows, and the setup guide leaves the channel and domain steps open.
Live run: the first visit to Channels calls the setup endpoint (200) and then lists exactly one sandbox row, showing its address.
Review: round 1 by GPT-6.1 Sol, three findings, all fixed: the test-send default (fixed in feat(workflows): provision a managed sandbox email sender #601), a late provisioning response, and missing rendered coverage. Final read 1 asked for a test of the late-response guard, which now exists. Final read 2 found nothing.
