Change

Preserve system for thinking-enabled OpenAI-compatible connections to official DashScope endpoints: standard regional hosts, Coding Plan, and the documented regional workspace, trial, and Token Plan hosts.

Only the default message-role capability changes. Thinking, other request options, explicit compatibility overrides, and other providers retain their behavior. Kimi (#206) is already in main and remains unchanged. Authentication, thinking-toggle behavior, connection-test redesign, and unknown gateways are outside scope. This PR targets main.

Stack

main -> #207 -> #209 -> #210

Merge #207 first. After each parent lands in main, update the remaining stack and retarget the next PR to main before merging it. Each PR is reviewed against its immediate base.

Evidence

• Alibaba documents the endpoint families and OpenAI-compatible message schema.
• OpenClaw users reported the exact developer rejection on Coding Plan; pi users reported it on Token Plan.
• OpenClaw merged a DashScope role fix. Its current compatibility detection also guards configured non-OpenAI endpoints; its Qwen registry lists Coding Plan and Token Plan regional hosts.
• OpenCode's compatible chat protocol uses a serializer that preserves system messages.

Validation

• Focused resolver suite: 88 tests passed, including official hosts, misleading host/path matches, and explicit overrides. The 12 newly covered endpoints failed before the matcher update.
• Full verification: all 14 gates passed on macOS arm64 / Node 26.7.0 at 5027e8e.
• Fresh independent blind review of the stacked changes found no actionable issues; git diff --check passed.

Publication and maintainer handoff

• Existing licenses and notices are preserved.
• No credentials, account data, private history, or user content is included.
• No source files were added or removed; tests extend an already registered file.
• Documentation impact is limited to the vendored patch ledger.
• Shared-source port: pending.
