Priority: ➖ Normal Estimated code review effort: 4 (Complex) | ~45 minutes Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to Companions now follow party leaders and heal injured allies. The remaining bounded risk is that separately maintained follow-distance thresholds could cause boundary movement oscillation after a future one-sided tuning change. 254-255: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | ⚡ Quick winAdd regression coverage for invalid retained targets.
wounded_allyvalidates the retained target throughwounded_memberand then performs fresh selection when the target is dead, recovered, outside the partition, or absent. Add assertions for these states so future changes cannot break this fallback. Set member13above 50% before testing recovery; its current30/100health is eligible.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

907-907: 📐 Maintainability & Code Quality | 🔵 Trivial | 💤 Low valueCentralize the companion follow distance.
The current checks use the same 3D radius, so they do not currently cause oscillation. Define
pub(super) const FOLLOW_DISTANCE: f32 = 3.05incompanion.rs, and use it in both checks to prevent future threshold drift.🤖 Prompt for AI Agents

playerbots_fixture_companion_mixed_heals to resolve the bot via character_guid,
filter rotations with by_class_role() for that bot’s class and role, then select
the supported HEAL row; preserve the existing missing-rotation error behavior.
In `@playerbots/src/runner.rs`:
- Around line 1043-1045: Update the strategy construction around
Trigger::Wounded so companions with a valid recovery rotation retain
self-recovery even when party is present, while preserving the healer-specific
behavior in companion::strategy and avoiding duplicate recovery strategies.

A Cohort Priest in a human-led party still followed its roster home and could not retain an injured member through range or visibility movement. A moving leader could also replace the objective and disrupt a cast already in progress.
Add one companion Strategy that keeps the leader identity while refreshing its position, retains one eligible injured member across completed movement legs and the correlated cast, and resumes follow after completion or interruption. Recovery Scan excludes unsupported channels before selecting a learned heal. A missing Group parent produces a typed Hold, and safe low-health recovery remains reachable. Non-healer companions retain their self-recovery candidate while grouped. The policy starts no unrelated fights and preserves the companion objective through death and regrouping.
