Verification

  • 102 selected package, documentation-boundary, stylesheet, certification, conformance-kit and rehearsal contract tests passed on commit 812fcb925e7c542a89df908c1e8bbee1feb2e0d1.
  • 21 focused checks passed before committing.
  • CodeRabbit review reported no remaining issues for both commits.
  • Clean release rehearsal passed, including clean-consumer installation and browser smoke.
  • The prepared wpmoo-ui-1.1.0.tgz passes the approved package-inventory check.
  • Hosted CI is required before merge.

📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

The change publishes the Table of Contents component through @wpmoo/ui/toc.js, updates the site route and preview, and identifies Moo UI 1.1.0 as the stable release. It also adds the 1.1.0 API freeze inventory and updates package, site-output, and release baselines.

Changes

Stable release and Table of Contents

Layer / File(s) Summary
Table of Contents implementation and package contract
src/js/components/toc.js, src/js/components/table-of-contents.js, src/js/moo-ui.js, package.json, certification.json, src/certification/api-freeze-1.1.0.json, tests/test_certification_contract.py, tests/test_package.py, tests/test_table_of_contents.py, tests/test_core_docs_boundary.py, scripts/*
The Table of Contents implementation moves to toc.js; the former entrypoint re-exports the same default export. Package and aggregate exports, API freeze data, and contract tests include the component and its lifecycle methods.
Site routes and responsive preview
build.py, site/src/js/catalog/*, site/src/pages/blocks/previews/toc.html.jinja, site/src/pages/components/table-of-contents.html.jinja, tests/test_catalog.py, tests/test_catalog_browser.py, tests/test_code_examples.py
The site build prefers the /components/toc/ route and also writes the legacy route output. The catalog loads toc.js; the component page and preview document and display responsive TOC behavior. Route and browser tests cover the aliases and embedded preview.
Stable release records and documentation
README.md, ASSET_LICENSE.md, SECURITY.md, SUPPORT.md, conformance/fixtures/assets/state.js, scss/mixins/_banner.scss, site/public/llms.txt, site/src/pages/changelog.html.jinja
Release and policy content identifies 1.1.0 as stable. The changelog labels 1.1.0-dev.1 as a superseded preview, and support content records separate source archive hashes. Public documentation describes the toc.js entrypoint and compatibility entrypoint.
Release baselines and repository settings
tests/fixtures/boundary-baseline.json, tests/fixtures/*baseline.sha256, requirements-dev.txt, .coderabbit.yaml, .github/dependabot.yml
Recorded hashes and output inventories are updated for the release and generated site. The coverage pin changes to 7.16.2. Dependabot schedules change to monthly with one open pull request per ecosystem, and review configuration options change.

The release appears mergeable, but a later change to the preferred Table of Contents API record could escape the current tests. Add the focused assertions before or shortly after merge.

Guard the preferred toc.js freeze record.

test_1_1_api_freeze_preserves_the_released_toc_surface checks only the table-of-contents.js record and probes only its source module. A change to the preferred toc.js record's export, source, or lifecycle can therefore pass the current tests. Assert both records, including the preferred entrypoint fields.
