🧭 Context

@wolfstar/http-framework 6.2.0 added Command.OptionsOf<K>, which reads the CommandOptionsRegistry generated by stars codegen. Command classes that import Command from @wolfstar/plugin-subcommands-advanced could not use it, because the plugin's Command namespace only re-exported a fixed set of framework types and OptionsOf was not among them.

📚 Description

Adds OptionsOf to the Command and Subcommand namespaces of the plugin, as an alias of the framework's Command.OptionsOf. Subcommand classes can now type their options without importing Command from the framework as well.

The type only exists from framework 6.2.0, so the package's @wolfstar/http-framework devDependency moves from ^6.1.0 to ^6.2.0 (resolves to 6.2.2; 6.3.0 is still blocked by minimumReleaseAge). The peer range is unchanged. On an older framework the type errors only for consumers compiling with skipLibCheck off.

Key changes

File Change
src/lib/structures/command.ts Command.OptionsOf and Subcommand.OptionsOf
package.json devDependency @wolfstar/http-framework ^6.1.0 → ^6.2.0
pnpm-lock.yaml, pnpm-workspace.yaml regenerated by pnpm install; minimumReleaseAgeExclude now also lists 6.2.2 and newer cli, kit, nitro-server, schema and vite-server
.changeset/subcommands-options-of.md minor changeset
README.md note that OptionsOf needs framework 6.2.0 or later

…nd.OptionsOf

Re-export the framework's Command.OptionsOf so command classes importing
Command from this package can type their generated options. Requires
@wolfstar/http-framework 6.2.0, so the devDependency moves to ^6.2.0.

🟠 New command types break supported framework 6.1 consumers · structures/command.ts:67

Correctness · structures/command.ts:67 · in Command & Subcommand Pieces

With framework 6.1.1 and skipLibCheck: false, importing the package declarations fails because framework 6.1 lacks these types, while peerDependencies still accepts ^6.0.0.

Fix: Update peerDependencies so it does not claim compatibility with framework versions that lack these types, or keep the declarations compatible with those versions.

🟠 Subcommand.OptionsOf breaks typechecking with supported older frameworks · structures/command.ts:108

Correctness · structures/command.ts:108 · in Command & Subcommand Pieces

With framework 6.1, v5, or v3 and skipLibCheck off, TypeScript cannot resolve FrameworkCommand.OptionsOf in this declaration, so consumers importing Subcommand fail to typecheck even if they do not use the new alias.

Fix: Gate OptionsOf behind a 6.2-only type entry point, or raise this package’s peer minimum in a breaking release.

  • Run npx @coldtea/pr-lens-cli analyze --base origin/main on a branch, then npx @coldtea/pr-lens-cli render .pr-lens/graph.json. Same lenses, your own model key, before the pull request exists
  • Untick Architecture lens or Data flow lens under View to hide a diagram, or tick Expand every detail to open every section. The comment redraws in a few seconds

  • The CLI's render reads .github/pr-lens.yml and applies your renames, exclusions and lane pins at draw time
  • Set github.comment.collapsed: true in .github/pr-lens.yml to fold the comment behind one View architecture and data flow row. Drawing still runs as before
  • Add .github/workflows/pr-lens.yml with coldteadotai/pr-lens/packages/action@v0 and your model provider's key as its api-key to run PR Lens from your own CI. Any /chat/completions endpoint works
  • Push a commit and the drawing stays, with a note that it is out of date. Tick Redraw in the note to draw the new head

ℹ️ No critical issues — one minor note inline.

Reviewed changes

Reviewed the single commit adding OptionsOf to the plugin's Command and Subcommand namespaces. I checked the type against the published @wolfstar/http-framework@6.2.2 declarations (CommandOptionsRegistry and Command.OptionsOf<K extends keyof CommandOptionsRegistry>), and the alias matches.

  • Command.OptionsOf / Subcommand.OptionsOf — aliases of the framework type, with the constraint written against CommandOptionsRegistry so codegen augmentation resolves correctly.
  • devDependency bump — @wolfstar/http-framework ^6.1.0 → ^6.2.0 in plugin-subcommands-advanced; the lockfile only moves this package (plus its test-utils peer resolution) to 6.2.2.
  • pnpm-workspace.yaml — minimumReleaseAgeExclude extended for the new framework, CLI, kit, nitro-server, schema and vite-server versions.
  • Changeset — minor bump for @wolfstar/plugin-subcommands-advanced.

Beyond that note, there is also no test for the new alias. A small expectTypeOf check in tests/ (augmenting CommandOptionsRegistry) would guard against the alias drifting from the framework type, though it isn't blocking.

Reviewed changes

Reviewed the one commit pushed since the prior Pullfrog review (cd62bf8).

  • README note — added a bullet to packages/plugin-subcommands-advanced/README.md saying Command.OptionsOf / Subcommand.OptionsOf need @wolfstar/http-framework 6.2.0 or later, and that older frameworks fail to resolve the type when skipLibCheck is off. This addresses the earlier inline note, so I resolved that thread.

The earlier optional suggestion still stands: a small expectTypeOf test would guard the alias against drifting from the framework type. It isn't blocking.
