Support and documentation for the WhatProblem AI issue clarification bot.
WhatProblem reads new issues on your repositories and asks the questions that are missing, so a report arrives as something a developer can actually pick up. It works through GitHub issue comments. There is nothing to run and nothing to configure.

| What's wrong | Where to go |
|---|---|
| How it works, what counts against an allowance, an idea | Ask in public |
| The bot said something wrong | Report a bug |
| The bot did not respond at all | Email us |
| Your account, your allowance, your plan | Email us |
Issues here are read by the person who builds the thing. There is no ticket queue.
Anything that needs us to look at your installation goes to support@whatproblem.dev rather than into a public thread, on every plan including the free one. More on the split.
Open an issue. That is the whole of it: the bot replies within a minute or two.
To call it onto an issue that already exists, comment:
!whatproblem analyze
To make it stop on a particular issue:
!whatproblem stop
Every command is on one page: Commands. More detail in How it works.
- Pull requests. Never commented on.
- Issues opened by bots. CI robots, linters and dependency bots are skipped, so your allowance goes on issues your team wrote. The bot leaves a note explaining why, at most once a month per repository.
- Anything after you tell it to stop.
What the bot does lives on the site. What to do when it misbehaves lives here, next to the tracker you would file on.
- How it works: triggers, stopping it, what a conversation looks like
- Commands: every command, and what stopping applies to
- Plans and limits: what counts against your allowance and what does not
- Troubleshooting: when the bot does not respond
- Getting help: public tracker versus private email
WhatProblem is in beta. The beta is open to the first 100 installations, which is where it closes, and each of them gets 150 clarified issues a month free. Paid plans are coming; beta testers will be offered a founder price before anything changes. The detail.
