Weave was an in‐development social network planned to be made available to school students across Australia. The aim of Weave was to provide students with fun in the novelty of an interschool‐centric social media platform that, altogether with broader free speech, permitted criticism of their own, and other, schools and teaching staff.
It was also envisioned to be merged/integrated with Vidar to facilitate unhindered access by all students regardless of any network filtering and censorship performed by the school.
Weave was ultimately entirely functional, though never deployed due to time constraints.
