Tables and filters answer "which Pokémon have X", but not "where does this group sit among everything else". There was no way to see, say, that Dragon types lean physical, or how fully evolved Pokémon spread by size.

The new Atlas page (/atlas, in the main nav) plots every Pokémon by any two measures.

  • Axes: any base stat, the total, height or weight. Height and weight use log scales, since they run from 0.1 to 20 m and 0.1 to 1,000 kg. Four views are one click away: physical against special (with an "Equal" diagonal), which defense, speed against total, and size.
  • Highlight: the same power search as the Pokédex. Matches keep their type color and everything else dims, so a group's position reads at a glance. Chips and search tips work as they do on the Pokédex.
  • Reading points: the point nearest the pointer is previewed with the shared preview card (now also used by the Dex wall), so there's no need to land on a 3 px dot. On touch, tap to preview and tap again to open. Keyboard users can arrow across the points and press Enter to open one; each point is an option with its name and values.
  • Table view: the highlighted set opens in the Pokédex, sorted by the vertical axis.
  • Changing axes animates the points to their new positions, which respects reduced motion.
  • State lives in the URL (?x=height&y=weight&q=is:final), so views can be shared.

Stacked on #29.

Validated with vp check, vp run check, vp test and vp build.

A scatter plot of every Pokémon by any two base stats, the total, height or weight, with views for physical against special, defenses, speed against power and size. Power search highlights a group and dims the rest, and the nearest point to the pointer is previewed, so there is no need to land on a dot. Arrow keys sweep across the points, and the highlighted set opens in the Pokédex table.
