Most notably differences from original code:

  • Added debian packaging info.
  • Applied patch #143 - this is a live saver if you use OpenVox E1 card.
  • Several E1 Q931 changes:
    • Added E1 inbound overlap-dialing (overlap sending) support.
    • Added User-to-user (UUS) messages decoding
  • External module:
    • Updated Yate.pm perl module to support tcp-connected external modules and '%%<quit'.
    • External scripts can rename itself in 'handlers' chain ('scriptname' variable).
    • Added Array decoding to allow external modules to use databases ('dumparray' variable).
  • Several database and postgres-related improvements:
    • Jabber client caps update can be stored to database. view patch
    • Support for routing query (register module) to return arbitrary number of message parameters (at cost of missing fallback routing) as key-value pairs. This allows, for example, building "new-style" parameters for callfork module. view patch usage example
    • Added ${$hstore} query substitution parameter support. It is replaced with all message parameters, serialized as postgres's hstore external representation. view patch
    • Added support for Postgres's asynchronous notifications When notification is received, database module enqueues database.notify message with notification details. view patch
    • Negation of message sniffer filter regexp matching view patch
  • Several SIP SDP improvements:
    • FMTP support (required for some video phones)
    • Added support for more video codecs: H263-1998, VP8, VP9, H264 (for pass-through)
  • Added lazyrec module.
  • Message sniffer filter regexp matching will be inverted if it ends with '^' character.
  • Sip features module: something presence-related FIXME
