I've been building backends for 15 years. These days it's mostly LLM systems and data pipelines, and since Claude Opus 4.5 agents write pretty much all of my code. I'm a geek; most of what's here I built because I wanted it to exist.
- HostelPunk: a hostel search engine. It ranks hostels by what guests write about meeting people and having fun, and AI does all the reading. 74M reviews from four sites, normalized, and 22,600 hostels matched across their catalogs.
- T3 Code, my fork: I run several Codex and Claude Code sessions at once here. Agents made about 50 changes in three weeks, from CLI-style keyboard control to a WebSocket/WebTransport benchmark on bad networks.
- dwl: my fork of a Wayland compositor written in C. Tiled windows share one border instead of each drawing its own. Agents wrote it and tested it with sanitizers against real Wayland and XWayland clients.
- claudex-limits: a Go terminal tool for keeping an eye on Codex and Claude usage limits.
- unmenu: a macOS launcher. The fuzzy matcher is Rust, called from Swift over FFI. Based on dmenu-mac.
- Blinky from scratch: bare-metal Rust on an STM32, starting from the reset handler. I wrote it by hand in 2021, before AI.
- lsend: a command-line LocalSend client built on its Rust core. Project write-up.
- Listenomics: charts for Last.fm listening history, built with Go and SQLite.
I also contribute to open source, including RuboCop and Herdr.
