Publish PSTui 1.0.0 to the PowerShell Gallery #6
Description
Tracks checklist item 5 in PLAN.md.
Ship the first community release as a new PSGallery package id PSTui (Microsoft retains Microsoft.PowerShell.ConsoleGuiTools). Version 1.0.0 matches the PowerShell#267 baseline and signals the Terminal.Gui v2 foundation.
Tasks
- Reserve/confirm the
PSTuipackage id on PSGallery (owned by the tui-cs org). -
Publish-Module(via the release pipeline) for 1.0.0. - Smoke test
Install-Module PSTuion a clean machine; verifyocgvandshot. - Tag the release and write release notes.
Depends on: rebrand, CI/CD migration, and the TFM decision.
Activity
release: run pipeline under PowerShell 7.6+ to validate/publish manifest
build: ship only PSTui + Terminal.Gui closure (29MB -> 9MB) (#6)

PLAN: mark CI/release pipeline (#5) and 1.0.0 publish (#6) done
