Account for explicit Issue and PR outcomes across Chromeria runs and machines #58

Description

@lukemaj

What: Build reliable outcome accounting for dedicated jobs and several Issues handled in one Chromeria thread.
Why: Current whole-thread links and checkout-dependent placement can pool unrelated usage or lose an otherwise unchanged report after cleanup.
So what: The coordinator starts the approved implementation through native-purpose evidence, exact local reports and compatible cross-machine exports; each current candidate still needs independent review and proof.

Outcome

An Issue-first or PR-first outcome has one truthful cost report across its executions, children and participating machines. Multiple Issues can share a thread without sharing each other's usage. Unknown membership, native finality, participation, counter semantics or exact-model pricing remains visible rather than zero or a complete bill.

This advances Agent Observer's Objective of explicit task/worker ownership and reproducible native evidence across Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, Grok Build and Chromeria V2. Chromeria owns execution purpose; Observer consumes native evidence and owns accounting. Transcripts remain on their original machines.

Approved policy

The user accepted the proposed rule, asked how multiple Issues work in one thread, then requested building it on 2026-10-16. This supersedes the earlier design-only instruction. Approval authorizes implementation, proof, commits and PRs for this outcome; it does not authorize merging/deploying unrelated Observer/Chromeria changes, changing prices, manual response assignments or historical guesses.

  • Typed Issue/PR tracking reference owns an execution. Ordinary Send follows the visible selection; a mismatch with active purpose queues new work. Explicit Steer/Restart targets the running work and retains its purpose, including on mobile. Child work inherits unless explicitly assigned a different purpose.
  • Same-job parent continuations retain original purpose, locally and remotely, using validated original delegation/launch evidence. Human follow-ups use their selection while preserving existing delegated-job binding, cohort reopen and parent notification. Job identity alone does not prove accounting ownership.
  • Native child resume is owned by its proved initiating segment, not reusable task/session identity. B's indivisible active response consuming A's background result is B-owned; A's separate background usage requires independent final reconciliation.
  • Explicit versioned task-aware calls require valid intent. Absent protocol is legacy unscoped with warnings, so existing agents continue operating; existing schedules/watches also remain warned unscoped, while new/edited configuration requires a choice. Native admission failure prevents app-requested execution. Autonomous native activity needs its earlier recorded cause, not an imagined pre-execution run.
  • Mixed/unscoped work is not allocated by prose or whole-thread links. A mistaken undisputed selection is billed as declared. No new purpose-repair, manual capture or automatic dispute detector is built; supported contradictory evidence remains conflict. A handoff-known mistake prevents accepting a generated full bill rather than silently changing the ledger.
  • PRs may deliver an Issue outcome; no automatic alias or per-PR cost splitting. Reports explicitly label outcome scope and delivery relation.
  • Exact cross-machine exports use existing caller-invoked transport and machine storage, preserving whole-session and judge fields. Union proved native response identities once, never whole-session task totals, with missing/incompatible evidence disclosed.

Acceptance criteria

  • Users can select/change/clear purpose on web, desktop and mobile; each admitted run exposes its immutable purpose and provenance. Multiple Issues in one thread, queued work, steering and retries follow the approved policy.
  • App-owned children and original-job continuations preserve purpose through local/remote admission and delayed attach, without breaking existing job lifecycle behavior or trusting forged sender ids.
  • Native input/response, child/workflow resume and background-cause evidence proves exclusive membership where available; missing or competing joins remain unresolved. Display/authorship retouch is never ownership proof.
  • Native final usage and expected execution/child/background/remote inventories reconcile before any complete-at-cutoff claim. Removing a final response or child witness falsifies completeness even with terminal run status.
  • Observer reports one typed outcome through Issue-first/late-PR and shared-planner cases, preserving native counter semantics, exact-model price coverage, shared exclusions and unknown monetary/subscription amounts. Rendering success alone is not evidence completeness.
  • Canonical reports do not need a checkout. Legacy placement retains response-specific evidence across checkout retirement without query-time Git or inferred historical branch lifetimes. Identical heads stay ambiguous.
  • Caller-named exact exports survive versioned validation/sanitization/store/read/union, preserve existing whole-session/judge data and deduplicate original native identities across copied ledgers. Missing remote participation or incompatible schemas cannot become zero.
  • Required-harness real-task evidence, isolated read-only historical proof and independent counter verification pass, or a precise demonstrated native execution-class limitation remains a user scope decision. Useful partials never silently satisfy full acceptance.

Design review

Astra medium designed the solution. Sol6.1 medium, Opus5.5 medium and Grok4.7 medium independently reviewed it through T3; Grok Build replaced OpenCode at the user's explicit request. R3: Sol APPROVE_FOR_POLICY_DECISION; Opus/Grok REVISE. Astra r4 resolved the findings and deleted unnecessary reassignment machinery. A new focused Opus medium review returned narrow REVISE with explicit parent-verifiable amendments and no further full review required. The coordinator verified and resolved human/remote continuation, unnamed mobile/client steer, request compatibility discrimination, fleet superset preservation and declaration caveats. No verdict was silently transferred to unseen text.

Review progression and exact private artifact identities: #58 (comment). The approved contract is Astra r4 plus coordinator policy addendum referenced there. The user then confirmed the multiple-Issue behavior and requested building it in the same originating thread. Review establishes design, not passed implementation gates. Every implementation candidate requires its own independent exact-head review.

Testing decisions and required proof

Use focused public admission/RPC and native adapter fixtures, not callback/static-markup assertions. Demonstrate two Issues in one thread, pre-PR ownership, local/remote stopped-job continuation, human follow-up lifecycle, ordinary Send versus explicit/mobile Steer, legacy compatibility, autonomous wakes and native child resumed under another Issue. Exercise actual native ids, missing/late/mutable final records and import-order reversal. Separate ownership fixtures from native-counter verification.

The retained 1598-response probe measures candidate joins only: 1571 Codex strong candidates, 26 Claude stored-turn-missing, one Grok missing its existing index/completion bridge; OpenCode/native child response coverage unmeasured. It is not ownership, dollars, finality or remote proof. Historical 443 attributed /549 unplaced and later mixed populations remain distinct; no recovery quota or invented retrospective purpose. The original planner historical ledger and compatible remote proof remain required evidence gaps.

Meaningful affected tests/lint/typechecks only; CI owns full suites. Use isolated copies and task-owned state. No live-data server, live ledger writes, transcript export or source mutation through report commands. Integrated native/mobile UI proof follows existing skill and explicit user authorization boundaries; no browser/computer interaction without applicable permission.

Non-goals

Opaque task registry, bare/sub-Issue minted outcomes, automatic Issue/PR aliases, prose classification, PR cost splitting, second price evaluator, new T3 joint inference, subscription allocation, new rates, manual token capture, purpose-repair API, snapshot archive/global generation, new daemon/transport, historical reassignment without native evidence. No package version bumps in Chromeria.

Blockers and delivery boundaries

No unresolved attribution-policy gate. First implementation is unblocked after native issue publication. Consumer work depends on the source contract at a reviewed exact head; exact fleet union depends on reviewed exact local reporting. Native finality, child boundaries and original planner evidence remain full-acceptance gates. A new impossibility or product/data decision returns to the user, not a weakened definition. Existing desktop/server and TestFlight delivery stays preserved; no production swaps under this new outcome.

Elon record

Requirements and who asked: User requested reliable outcome accounting, named medium design/critiques, clarified multiple Issues in one thread and requested building the approved rule on2026-10-16. Observer Objective requires native evidence, explicit ownership and honest gaps.
Deleted: Opaque identity registry, retrospective link ownership, PR splitting/cache, optional reassignment subsystem, new continuation UI, second fleet slot, duplicate broad reviews, manual capture, new services and invented complete totals.
Bottleneck: Native ownership and causal evidence at admission/adapters, followed by exact response and finality consumption. Parallel consumer writers cannot use an unfrozen source contract safely.
Checked myself: Read all design/review artifacts, resolved final conditions, verified live repository main tips and open work, recovered existing Issue58 and adjacent72, and checked current source continuation/steer/fleet seams. Native runtime proof remains to be built and observed.

What: Chromeria PR371 reporting changed from443attributable responses/$16.98 API-equivalent to0responses/$0.00 after its completed task checkout was retired, and restored to443/$16.98 when the identical checkout/path/branch was recreated.
Why: The current multi-link placement depends on live checkout availability even for historical accepted usage; this observation is reproducible from the supported task-show/publish commands, but the exact implementation cause was not diagnosed here.
So what: Track this cleanup/lifetime failure alongside #58; no Observer implementation or attribution-contract change is authorized by the Chromeria absorption. Its final report is restored and its exact source checkout retained as a reporting dependency.

Evidence: Chromeria task370, mergedPR371, supported report, partial clarification. Exact delivered source1d6372d230c8d144205ca7432f62233c2265e943 remains native main. The dedicated tree is linked to its owning Issue370 and PR371, with ten measured Codex sessions.

Sequence: supported all-machine sync; task show/dry-run showed443priced/443attributed responses,549unplaced excluded, snapshot9af81c7d8a018ef2b17a91aea2937dd8354d316d958efa08fd2ee5c4e3446c54. After verified clean merged branch/worktree retirement, supported publish updated its existing comment to0responses/$0.00. No ledger capture, assignment, price/model change or new sync was performed between these observations. Recreating the same task worktree/path/local branch at identical merged SHA restored task show and dry-run to the prior443/$16.98/snapshot, with549unplaced excluded; supported publish restored the existing public comment. Remote task/proof branches remain retired, so recreating those remote branches was unnecessary. Private JSON/comment snapshots preserve the before/after evidence outside tracked source.

Separately, both Mac ledgers sync successfully but task show returns unknown task; full cross-machine aggregation is disclosed unavailable. No whole-project/shared-session spend is substituted. Native monetary cost/subscription spending remain unknown; this is a sourced API-list-price-equivalent subset, not total outcome spend.

Requirements and who asked: Existing #58 owns per-PR multi-link attribution; user requires readable task-scoped costs on each daily Chromeria absorption and forbids changing Observer under that task.
Deleted: Manual token assignment, invented zero/full totals, Observer code/pricing changes and duplicate issue creation.
Bottleneck: Historical placement must remain stable across legitimate checkout retirement, under the attribution contract chosen by this owner.
Checked myself: Supported task/dry-run/publication results before cleanup, zero public result after cleanup, sameSHAcheckout restoration and identical443response/snapshot recovery; no source or ledger-owner edits.

What: User requests a reviewed specification for attribution #58, designed by Astra medium and roasted by Opus5.5medium, Grok4.7medium through OpenCode, and Sol6.1medium.
Why: Chromeria's dedicated daily job produced549unplaced responses and required restoring a deleted checkout to keep443historical responses attributable; existing multi-link planner behavior also pools unrelated work.
So what: Astra designs first against current contracts/source and real evidence, then the three requested independent reviewers challenge the frozen proposal. No implementation or attribution-rule approval is implied by this design request.

The2026-10-16 request authorizes specification/review and an Elon record. It supersedes the old wait-to-start-design state, while the existing gate approving a changed attribution rule before code remains. Existing #58 owns the outcome; no duplicate parent Issue or implementation PR. Parent owns integration/adjudication/Issue writes; designer/reviewers work read-only against source with private scratch drafts. No ledger mutation/manual assignment, installations, secrets, transcript publication, model-rate invention or changes to the completed Chromeria deployment.

Elon assessment: requirements are trustworthy outcome-scoped accounting, no double counting, explicit uncertainty, dedicated jobs and multi-job planners handled separately, stable historical attribution after cleanup and honest machine coverage. The user's named designer/reviewers are explicit requirements. Delete a new accounting service, new manual capture/ownership workflow, automatic whole-project spend substitution and any assumption that Issue+PR are always the same outcome. The bottleneck is choosing a defensible attribution contract with available evidence, not adding model workers or fleet automation. One designer precedes the requested independent critiques; no implementation dispatch before a reviewed concrete proposal and user-owned contract decision.

Known evidence: latest #58 comment links the completed Chromeria#370/PR371 sequence and private aggregates.549responses were recorded but unplaced, not lost;443priced attributable responses valued$16.98under the sourced schedule. Deleting/recreating the same task checkout changed/restored historical placement without manual assignment. Both Mac syncs succeeded but local task-show returned unknown task: the agent ran on bestia and used SSH, so that alone does not establish missing Mac model usage. These are evidence/questions to investigate, not a prescribed new accounting design. Keep transcripts on their owning machine; only safe aggregates travel.

Routing checked current app provider catalog. Astra and Sol are available through Codex, Opus5.5 through Claude, each supporting medium. OpenCode on bestia/rocky/cavallo reports Failed to execute OpenCode CLI health check: OpenCode CLI version probe timed out after 4 seconds. Its reported models omit Grok4.7. Only the affected requested Grok/OpenCode critique is unresolved; no native-Grok substitution or shell-agent launch. Recheck bounded live route when critique is due and report exact failure if unavailable.

Requirements and who asked: User explicitly asks Astra medium design, Opus5.5medium/Grok4.7medium-viaOpenCode/Sol6.1medium roasts and an Elon record for #58; Observer Objective requires trustworthy task/worker accounting without double counting and explicit gaps.
Deleted: Implementation now, new services/manual bookkeeping, duplicate Issue, pooled total represented as PR spend and silent reviewer/harness substitution.
Bottleneck: Source-backed attribution rule and independent critiques; Grok/OpenCode route currently unavailable by app catalog.
Checked myself: Full current #58/body/evidence, Observer instructions/triad/glossary, canonical Operations/Elon/design/spec procedures, clean read-only checkout and app provider/options/constraints on all three environments.

What: Astra medium is running the first #58 design/spec pass with an explicit Elon assessment.
Why: A single source-backed proposal is needed before the user's named independent roasts; attribution policy remains a decision before implementation.
So what: Its completion resumes this parent to freeze the draft, then request Opus5.5medium, Grok4.7medium viaOpenCode and Sol6.1medium critiques; no implementation starts under this request.

TaskId node:delegated-task:command%3Amcp%3Aaa100901-e72e-4977-8278-2ff59fe08dc3%3Adelegate-task%3Aobserver-58-astra-medium-design-20261016-r1; child thread:delegated-task:command%3Amcp%3Aaa100901-e72e-4977-8278-2ff59fe08dc3%3Adelegate-task%3Aobserver-58-astra-medium-design-20261016-r1. Designer owns private draft /home/luke/scratch/observer-58-design-20261016/spec-r1.md, not source/ledger/GitHub edits. Parent alone owns Issue records/adjudication. Complete packet requires current triad/glossaries/contracts/ADRs/Operations/Elon, caller/failure/lifetime analysis, minimal competing designs and decisive evidence, actual #370/PR371 usage/lost-restored-checkout records, explicit nativecounter/machineorigin/uncertainty boundaries, concrete tests and user-owned policy decisions. Neither 'allIssue+PRlinksarealiases' nor 'alltreeusagebelongsonePR' is assumed. Full spec will be frozen by digest for the requested critiques. No new Issue/PR, code, ledger assignments, installations or deployment changes.

OpenCode/Grok critique remains route-blocked pending bounded recheck at review stage: all three environment catalogs reportOpenCode versionprobe timeout4s and omitGrok4.7. No silent nativeGrok or differentmodel fallback; other work continues. Preserve exact requested medium targets in subsequent review briefs/configuration.

Requirements and who asked: User specifically requested Astra medium design, three named medium roasts and Elon record for #58; existing Issue requires attribution-contract approval before code.
Deleted: Implementation dispatch, duplicateIssue/worker, manualcapture, assumedaliasing/pooling, model/harness substitution and new service machinery.
Bottleneck: Astra's concrete proposed rule/evidence, then independent critiques; requested Grok/OpenCode route unavailable in current app catalog.
Checked myself: Clean exact local/live baseline, complete owningIssue/evidence/instructions/direction/glossary, live target options across environments and accepted explicit Astra-medium task.

What: Astra medium finished a proposed attribution design; the three requested independent critiques are running against the same frozen draft.
Why: Dedicated jobs and shared planner trees need defensible ownership, while disposable checkouts must not change historical cost.
So what: The parent will adjudicate all three critiques and present the remaining attribution-policy decisions before implementation.

Frozen draft SHA256: efa0cfcbca5ffd08f083ae0a6a61a9ab1445f69bc3f699d380bad3ea6b4cd145; Observer baseline 71bcb597a3ec8a15f3c595d043fc07d0e2271b59. The proposal uses nearest direct thread-link scope, durable import-time evidence, explicit ambiguity and reproducible read-only reports. It does not automatically alias Issue and PR references. Links-as-ownership and complete dedicated outcome identity remain proposed policy, not accepted requirements. No code or live ledger changes.

The current removed-checkout fallback works with persisted evidence. The exact historical row-level cause of the earlier zero publication remains unproved; the design does not claim the fallback was absent. Current read-only observations have a newer cutoff and cannot replace the original 992/443/549 snapshot.

Durable task identities under MCP command aa100901-e72e-4977-8278-2ff59fe08dc3:

    • Designer completed: node:delegated-task:command%3Amcp%3Aaa100901-e72e-4977-8278-2ff59fe08dc3%3Adelegate-task%3Aobserver-58-astra-medium-design-20261016-r1.
    • Opus 5.5 medium, Claude: node:delegated-task:command%3Amcp%3Aaa100901-e72e-4977-8278-2ff59fe08dc3%3Adelegate-task%3Aobserver-58-opus-medium-roast-r1-20261016.
    • Sol 6.1 medium, Codex: node:delegated-task:command%3Amcp%3Aaa100901-e72e-4977-8278-2ff59fe08dc3%3Adelegate-task%3Aobserver-58-sol-medium-roast-r1-20261016.
    • Grok 4.7 medium, OpenCode on cavallo: node:delegated-task:command%3Amcp%3Aaa100901-e72e-4977-8278-2ff59fe08dc3%3Aremote-delegate%3Aobserver-58-grok-opencode-medium-roast-r1-20261016.

The user restored OpenCode on cavallo. Live catalog now passes child-task health, offers opencode-go/grok-4.7 with medium variant, and accepted this exact review dispatch. This is actual remote agent participation, distinct from the earlier deployment agent issuing SSH commands. Cavallo has an exact isolated source archive and matching draft digest; local private ledger evidence remains unavailable there. No silent model or harness substitution.

Requirements and who asked: User requested Astra medium design and Opus 5.5, Grok 4.7 through OpenCode, and Sol 6.1 medium critiques; Observer Objective requires attributable native usage and visible uncertainty.
Deleted: Implementation before policy approval, automatic Issue/PR equivalence, guessed recovery quotas, whole-tree expense and new bookkeeping services.
Bottleneck: Independent critique of ownership semantics and the missing authoritative dedicated-outcome relation; reviews combine as evidence coverage, not a majority vote.
Checked myself: Read the frozen draft, confirmed exact digest and baseline archive, checked live provider models/options and OpenCode health, verified designer completion and all three dispatch identities. Exact runtime execution and review verdicts remain pending.

What: Sol 6.1 medium returned REVISE on the frozen Astra design.
Why: The draft leaves dedicated Issue-first/PR-later outcome identity unresolved and contains gaps in ownership provenance, snapshot retention and revision activation.
So what: The parent retains these objections for joint adjudication after Opus and Grok return; no implementation or policy acceptance has occurred.

Reviewed draft SHA256 efa0cfcbca5ffd08f083ae0a6a61a9ab1445f69bc3f699d380bad3ea6b4cd145, Observer baseline 71bcb597a3ec8a15f3c595d043fc07d0e2271b59. Runtime confirmed by reviewer: gpt-6.1-sol, medium, Codex through T3.

    Required corrections from this review:

    • High: define the authoritative dedicated-outcome boundary, or explicitly obtain reduced scope; preserving separate references alone does not answer the Issue-first/PR-later outcome cost.
    • High: specify which link sources may declare ownership. Automatic stack links must not silently change purpose.
    • High: distinguish retained accounting snapshots from arbitrary read-only valuations. Sync cannot retain a custom price file it has never seen.
    • High: pin and atomically activate the accounting input set across native adapter commits, scoped native-only sync and interrupted imports.
    • Medium: define the native atomic response boundary used for link activation, including mid-response link/unlink and late usage.

Parent checked the actual native-import/conditional-T3-refresh flow, query-time default pricing and automatic source=stack link dispatch; these support the cited mechanisms. This does not independently reproduce historical ledger totals. Other two independent critiques remain outstanding. The full review is retained privately, with explicit historical evidence limits.

Requirements and who asked: User requested all three independent medium critiques before implementation; trustworthy outcome accounting remains the requested result.
Deleted: No premature consensus, automatic alias assumption or universal snapshot retrieval promise accepted.
Bottleneck: Complete independent critique, then resolve outcome identity and evidence semantics in one coherent revision.
Checked myself: Read full Sol critique and exact reviewed identity; inspected native sync flow, mutable query-time schedule and automatic stack-link source against source. No code or live ledger writes.

What: Opus 5.5 returned REVISE on the same frozen draft, with a smaller caller-selected outcome-union proposal.
Why: Prospective PR links omit normal pre-PR implementation, and an Issue-plus-PR outcome needs an explicit query scope rather than competing references.
So what: The parent will reconcile this proposal with Sol's objections and Grok's pending critique before revising the design; no code changes are authorized by a reviewer's suggestion.

Reviewed spec SHA256 efa0cfcbca5ffd08f083ae0a6a61a9ab1445f69bc3f699d380bad3ea6b4cd145, Observer baseline 71bcb597a3ec8a15f3c595d043fc07d0e2271b59. Reviewer runtime: Opus 5.5 in Claude through T3; medium was requested at dispatch and checked in parent thread configuration.

Opus proposes caller-named union scopes, retaining separate Issue and PR identities and counting native responses once. This could remove a relation-store requirement. Its proposed rule that all candidates falling inside a requested union establishes ownership is not yet accepted: an incomplete candidate set is not evidence of exclusive membership.

Opus also proposes applying today's direct links to a thread's entire lifetime and removing temporal history. That conflicts with the draft's protection against repurposed threads and later unrelated links; the parent will not treat it as an automatic correction. A normal late-created PR and a genuine purpose change need distinguishable behavior.

Reviewer-measured current-cutoff example (not the historical 992/443/549 cutoff): 1013 responses, 448 currently attributed, 565 unplaced. Nearest direct scope without temporal rules would move 363 implementation responses to PR371, leaving 202 root/review responses ambiguous. The reviewer counts 79 implementation responses preceding the PR link. These are reviewer observations and policy projections, not independent parent reproductions or a complete-cost claim.

Source-supported findings checked by parent: report completeness does not consider unplaced responses; PR-head dictionary construction silently collapses identical heads; checkout refinement has PR heads but no Issue heads. Opus suggests immediate microfixes, but this assignment remains design and critique, with the existing pre-code attribution gate intact.

Opus questions unrequested snapshot retrieval/storage and a new T3 joint-work producer. Sol independently identified valuation persistence and revision-activation contradictions. Simplification is required, but must preserve cleanup-safe evidence and meaningful late-input correction.

Requirements and who asked: User requested three independent medium critiques of Astra's design and an Elon record; trustworthy dedicated and planner outcome costs remain the goal.
Deleted: No majority-vote acceptance, automatic retrospective relinking, candidate-set union treated as proven ownership, or reviewer-created implementation authority.
Bottleneck: Choose the smallest defensible outcome scope and ownership rule after the final requested critique returns.
Checked myself: Read full Opus critique and source definitions for completeness, checkout PR heads and head collisions; checked requested model/effort in T3 configuration. Historical private-ledger arithmetic remains reviewer evidence, and Grok review is outstanding.

What: The Grok critique now runs on bestia through native Grok Build, using Grok4.7medium as the user requested.
Why: Cavallo is offline; the old OpenCode task's running flag did not establish progress, and remote state/SSH could not be reached.
So what: The new reviewer uses a separate frozen source archive and output path; the coordinator will adjudicate its result and reconcile any old remote result when Cavallo returns. No implementation starts.

Old task node:delegated-task:command%3Amcp%3Aaa100901-e72e-4977-8278-2ff59fe08dc3%3Aremote-delegate%3Aobserver-58-grok-opencode-medium-roast-r1-20261016 reported running with no result. Two bounded native thread reads failed; SSH timed out and live Tailscale status marks Cavallo offline (last seen2026-10-16T13:20:00Z). Parent requested task_cancel, and task_status now says cancelled BUT explicitly states it could not stop the process in Cavallo and it may still run there. Remote stop is unconfirmed. This is not proof of a Grok/model hang. Do not reuse its remote workspace/output or dispatch more work there before recovery.

User explicitly authorized native Grok Build replacement. Current local catalog offers grok/grok-4.7 with reasoningEffortmedium, child-task capability and no constraints. Replacement task node:delegated-task:command%3Amcp%3Aaa100901-e72e-4977-8278-2ff59fe08dc3%3Adelegate-task%3Aobserver-58-grok-build-medium-roast-r1-replacement-20261016, child thread:delegated-task:command%3Amcp%3Aaa100901-e72e-4977-8278-2ff59fe08dc3%3Adelegate-task%3Aobserver-58-grok-build-medium-roast-r1-replacement-20261016, accepted running with providerInstanceIdgrok/modelgrok-4.7/explicitmedium.

Isolation for unconfirmed remote stop follows bounded-delegation: the replacement reads an independent bestia archive of exact baseline71bcb597a3ec8a15f3c595d043fc07d0e2271b59, frozen Astra spec digestefa0cfcbca5ffd08f083ae0a6a61a9ab1445f69bc3f699d380bad3ea6b4cd145 and copied Sol/Opus critiques under /home/luke/scratch/observer-58-grok-build-review-20261016/. Only new private output roast-grok-build-medium.md is writable. No shared remote/source/ledger/GitHub writes, installations or new services. Old result, if later recovered, is historical evidence, never an automatic accepted review. The native reviewer gets the full original brief, previous findings/responses and unresolved policy objections. Parent retains Issue/adjudication authority; attribution-policy approval still precedes code.

Chromeria's separately authorized mobile delivery remains with its existing Rocky owner; this review changes no build/source/deployment state and claims no Chromeria PR cost ownership.

Requirements and who asked: User asks whether Grok is stuck and explicitly requests Grok Build instead of OpenCode if blocked; original medium review target and Elon record remain.
Deleted: Waiting on an unreachable machine, claiming running means progress, silent harness substitution, reuse of unconfirmed remote resources and new implementation authority.
Bottleneck: Obtain the missing independent critique while Cavallo connectivity prevents inspection/confirmed stop.
Checked myself: Actual task status/cancellation caveat, two failed remote reads, SSH timeout and live offline flag, healthy local Grok catalog/options, verified frozen-source/spec identity and accepted native-medium dispatch.

What: Grok Build completed REVISE on frozen spec r1; Astra medium is revising the proposal using all three independent critiques.
Why: The draft still conflates link scope with proven outcome ownership and promises persistence/atomicity its proposed boundary does not establish.
So what: Astra will return a concrete smaller r2 plus finding-by-finding adjudication; attribution-policy approval remains required before implementation.

Native Grok replacement task observer-58-grok-build-medium-roast-r1-replacement-20261016 completed. Reviewer could not independently confirm effort from unset process environment; that caveat remains, without mistaking an unset environment variable for proof that configured effort was dropped. Report SHA25614c085bc1c89db954087b0fb6918249871b2b6dca84cb619972f2ced200d1ca5 verified, frozen spec digest unchanged. Old Cavallo OpenCode process stop remains unconfirmed/offline; no old output/resource reused.

Grok required corrections: one disposition for missing/pre-link history; dedicated Issue/PR outcome membership remains unproved by co-links; eligible-link source predicate must be defined and retained; adapter commits do not supply one accounting revision automatically; remove arbitrary historical valuation retrieval promise unless stored inputs actually exist; PR-only checkout refinement must respect reference kind and identical-head ambiguity; no invented T3 joint producer. Mechanical false-complete/checkout-lifetime/head-collision fixes remain valid and distinct from user-owned purpose policy. Parent inspected root-wide binding, complete predicate and head selection source and read full roast; no new historical ledger claim.

Astra original task observer-58-astra-medium-design-20261016-r1 resumed ordinal2, same designer/job, with all prior findings/responses. New outputs spec-r2.md and adjudication-r1.md, only private writes. Full requested outcome remains dedicated AND planner trustworthy accounting; no silent reduction to partial reference reports. A minimal authoritative native outcome-membership fact may be proposed at its true owner if required, with exact boundary/proof and approval question; no new service/implementation/manual capture follows. All three REVISE verdicts are evidence, not a majority vote or policy approval.

Requirements and who asked: User requests Astra medium design, three named roasts and Elon record for trustworthy full outcome accounting, then explicitly permits native Grok Build replacement.
Deleted: Passing r1 by consensus, automatic Issue/PR alias, invented exclusive candidate union, fake medium-runtime certainty from environment absence, and implementation before contract approval.
Bottleneck: Coherent minimal revised ownership/outcome contract with honest lifetime/atomicity/valuation guarantees.
Checked myself: Full Grok review and hash, native task result, supported configured medium selection, baseline root-binding/completeness/head-selection code and all critic concerns relayed to the same designer.

What: The post-mobile PR371 dryrun now includes unrelated #58 design/review usage; it was withheld and the existing partial clarification was refreshed instead.
Why: Root-wide/whole-shared attribution crosses outcome boundaries, while the native Rocky delivery session remains unplaced despite supported links and sync.
So what: This is another concrete counterexample for the pending r2 design, not permission to change Observer or manually assign counters.

These scopes are not summed. Native-counter/rate-source evidence remains private outside tracked source.

Deleted: Publishing a known mixed-outcome headline, unrelated Grok/Astra usage as PR spend, fake complete zero and manual ownership.
Bottleneck: Authoritative outcome membership and ownership-complete reporting under #58.
Checked myself: Supported current exports/dryrun/model rows/exclusions, native T3 job identities and public clarification read-back; no historical count was redefined as a new measurement.

What: Astra medium finished r2 and adjudicated every r1 finding; three new independent medium reviews are running on the frozen revised contract.
Why: R1's link ownership cannot establish the requested dedicated Issue-first/PR-later outcome, so the proposal now supplies that missing fact at native run admission.
So what: Parent will adjudicate this materially changed contract before presenting the concrete user-owned purpose-policy decision. No implementation or final spec publication is authorized yet.

Chromeria live main3caa62c7c841715988ce971e4445c696d498e488; designer inspected older da7034 owner source, so all critics must verify relevant interfaces against frozen current3caa and flag any material mismatch.

Proposed means, not approved policy: native stable task identity at outcome start; immutable run purpose propagated through actual delegation/continuation/remote envelopes; typed tracking/delivery relations; navigation links never own usage. Observer joins exact native responses to admitted runs and task, reports pending/unknown coverage, preserves native semantics and durable subordinate PR refinement, and makes no universal snapshot retrieval/global-generation promise. Historical unowned work remains partial. Full dedicated/planner outcome accounting is retained rather than narrowed to reference-level reports.

Every r2 reviewer receives original request, complete r1/r2/adjudication and all three prior findings/responses, exact baselines/digests, native admission/caller/response-join/coverage/migration/product burden pressure points and proof limits. Cross-repository native producer/consumer work is only a proposed dependency, not implementation authority. No critic vote can answer the user's purpose-policy decision.

Requirements and who asked: User requires trustworthy dedicated/planner outcome accounting with Astra medium design, Opus5.5/Sol6.1/Grok4.7medium critiques and Elon record; Grok Build route explicitly supersedes OpenCode.

What: All three r2 critics request changes; a bounded read-only metadata probe confirms that task identity alone cannot join every harness's usage.
Why: Current records need explicit native response/background/child edges as well as a purpose boundary; r2 also invents duplicate per-start outcome keys and ambiguous caller defaults.
So what: The same Astra medium designer is correcting the proposal against current3caa source and the measured evidence. No user policy decision or code approval is inferred.

R2 remains frozen dd17ea8ac7334770d4e32ce2f10aa88eb1196db558f044a5e1465652b635dc8d. All three r2 tasks are terminal, no competing review dispatch. Full private reports roast-r2-sol.md, roast-r2-opus.md, roast-r2-grok-build.md and SHA manifest retained. Source proof confirms current runless child paths and Claude positional retouch. Opus's description of da7034 as an ancestor712commits behind is rejected: parent ancestor check returns false; this is a different native-history source, although the stale-inspection concern is valid. Current3caa pinned objects govern new design.

Accepted review mechanisms: provider-autonomous buffered wake can execute before admission and needs its earlier causal owner/background inventory; native subagent/workflow child work can be runless and needs exact spawning ownership; each harness has different input/response/finality witnesses; caller intent, schedules, remote carriage, steering and immutable-write enforcement need one noncontradictory contract. No main-agent usage witness covers unseen child usage. Ordinary links remain non-owning, pre-PR work requires explicit outcome purpose, and historical unknowns stay unknown.

Requirement challenge: one Issue restarted twice should remain one outcome, not require discovering opaque per-admission task keys. Typed tracking reference is the preferred smaller identity consistent with the current glossary and user's Issue-first/PR-later case; the designer must adjudicate it rather than vote. Bare untracked outcomes/sub-Issue task splitting and new canonical PR-splitting caches have no user requirement. Existing legacy checkout evidence remains separately necessary. Policy product defaults and account completeness cannot be accepted just because the core direction is right.

    Bounded empirical probe

Question: how many fixed local-context response IDs can reach a unique native run using currently recorded input/turn edges? Prototype procedure and empirical reference read. Sources opened mode=ro, query_only=ON, with read transactions; only selected identity/structural fields copied privately, no prompts, raw logs, counters or live writes. Offline evaluation script/result/conditions under private join-probe/. Capture2026-10-16T14:02:26Z, two separately bounded databases, not an atomic cross-database snapshot.

Population is1598unique responses in19sessions from retained mixed local PR371 context snapshot415680dcc65d007ca140c198686cc22f21b73c90f2b1b4fbd9993e3def7f3968/cutoff13:36:29Z. It is not pure PR cost, old992/1013population, remote Mac coverage or native finality proof.

Harness Selected responses Recorded join observation
    Codex 1571 1571unique strong-ref run-ID candidates;1560initial and11steering_restart
Claude 26 All26stored response turn IDs missing; current provider turn has weak reference
Grok 1 No run candidate; the strong input-index ref matches one stored input row whose completion turn ID isNULL
OpenCode/native child sessions No sample here Unmeasured, never zero-cost or supported-coverage proof

These are candidate-cardinality observations, not new historical ownership assignments. The existing Grok input-index-to-completion bridge really exists in _store_prompt; a simple equality mismatch does not prove impossibility. In this sample the bridging completion field is missing, so its cause/extension needs design. Claude positional retouch prevents equating arbitrary stored matches with validated exact ownership. Selected native child facts do not establish general runless-child coverage. No dollar recovery amount or549quota follows.

Astra original design task resumed ordinal3 with every r2 report, these artifacts/limits and current-owner constraints; new spec-r3.md/adjudication-r2.md only. It must simplify stable identity, define actual caller/causal/harness contracts and present genuine policy consequences before approval. No implementation, native task writes, ledger assignment, sync, installation, deployment or new service.

Requirements and who asked: User asks reliable full dedicated/planner outcome accounting and reviewed Astra-medium design; reviewers exposed an empirical join assumption that is within authorized read-only investigation.
Deleted: Approving r2 by consensus, new opaque per-start registry without a requirement, bare/sub-Issue outcomes, guessed ancestor history, direct-Grok-equality impossibility, invented native finality and manual recovered cost.
Bottleneck: Source-backed response/child/background causal membership and a coherent stable tracking identity/caller purpose contract.
Checked myself: All three full r2 reports, current runless/source/retouch/Grok bridge code, exact source ancestry, read-only structural probe conditions and output, private evidence digests and same-designer continuation identity.

What: Astra froze revision 3; three new independent medium reviews are running against that exact design.
Why: Revision 2 fragmented repeated work on one Issue and did not fully define native response, child and autonomous-background evidence.
So what: The coordinator will adjudicate these reviews before presenting the attribution policy; implementation remains unauthorized.

    Current candidate and decisions

Private candidate spec-r3.md SHA256 1d74d0949e25891cd91098c7e70c3e4ba33c2ee5c1edbd3c40807541ffd56cd6; adjudication-r2.md SHA256 1a970c6611032e80e50c4b0a72eadf45cc36776c84cb7f5f8f5fa3a489fd3414. Parent read both in full and verified hashes. Original design job is completed, with no pending child runs; latest continuation produced revision 3 and released ownership.

The proposal uses an explicitly selected typed Issue/PR as outcome identity, removes the opaque task registry and canonical PR splitting, preserves purpose through actual execution/spawn/background causes, and requires original native response joins separately from display attribution. Full cost additionally requires closed native usage and participation inventories. A minimal exact-task Machine export/offline union is proposed at the existing Observer owner for real remote agents; whole-session fleet totals remain unsuitable.

The retained metadata probe supports candidate feasibility only: 1571 Codex response/run candidates, 26 Claude responses without stored turn IDs, one Grok response missing its existing completion bridge, and no measured OpenCode/native-child response coverage. It proves neither historical ownership nor final native counter coverage. No recovery quota, dollars or manual reassignment follows.

    Exclusive review tasks

All are new read-only T3 delegated rounds; each has the original outcome, all r2 findings/responses, frozen r3 and retained probe references. Only separate private review files are writable. No source, ledger, sync, Git checkout, GitHub or live server changes are allowed.

R1/r2 verdicts do not approve r3. Reviews must distinguish concrete design blockers from user policy choices and implementation proof gates. The original Cavallo OpenCode task remains cancelled at the parent with remote stop unconfirmed while that host is offline; no old resources were reused.

    Delivery and authority

Observer source remains clean at 71bcb597a3ec8a15f3c595d043fc07d0e2271b59. Chromeria analysis is pinned to Git objects at 3caa62c7c841715988ce971e4445c696d498e488; the stale local checkout is untouched. Desktop/server delivery and mobile TestFlight build 4 are preserved. The mixed post-mobile generated cost report remains withheld, not silently assigned to PR371. This design does not repair historical reports by assertion.

    Elon record

Requirements and who asked: The user requested trustworthy outcome accounting and Astra medium design with the three named medium critiques; Issue58 requires user approval of attribution policy before code.

What: Sol approves frozen r3 for a policy decision; Opus requests narrow revisions, including two concrete continuation-ownership gaps.
Why: A stopped delegated job's follow-up and a resumed native Claude subagent need explicit segment ownership, rather than relying on initial launch identity.
So what: The coordinator will combine Grok's outstanding independent review with these findings before revising the proposal; no implementation or attribution-policy approval is inferred.

    Current review state

Candidate remains spec-r3.md SHA256 1d74d0949e25891cd91098c7e70c3e4ba33c2ee5c1edbd3c40807541ffd56cd6. Sol and Opus tasks recorded in the preceding handoff are completed without pending child runs. Both full review files were read. Grok's current round remains outstanding; no duplicate dispatch or new design writer has started.

Sol verdict: APPROVE_FOR_POLICY_DECISION. No blocking design findings in its inspected scope. Nonblocking refinements: inseparable mixed correction lineage must reject/conflict; exact-task export must version validator, sanitizer, reader and combine together without legacy whole-session fallback.

Opus verdict: REVISE, narrow, without redesign. Two high findings: the documented stopped-job continuation via t3_thread_send has no fully defined purpose resolution before run creation; native Claude subagent resume reuses task_id and requires ownership by the exact start/resume segment, rather than the first spawn. Parent independently inspected pinned 3caa Orchestrator lines 7230-7310 and ClaudeAdapterV2 lines 6548-6610: current follow-up task binding is attached by run.updated after run creation, and the native adapter explicitly reopens the same task_id on resume. These mechanisms are verified; Opus's proposed policy remedies remain subject to adjudication.

Opus also requests definite auto-versus-steer behavior, a rule for another task's background result consumed inside an active run, remote correction closure, and an enforceable correction authorization boundary. Low findings recommend using existing per-machine export storage and exporting only the caller-named task, plus narrowing lifetime inheritance after resume. Removing an MCP endpoint alone must not be treated as proof of human authorization without examining existing command/auth boundaries. These are unresolved recommendations, not accepted implementation requirements.

Sol's approval does not erase Opus's concrete counterexamples. Prior frozen-candidate reviews remain distinct; eventual revised text cannot inherit their verdicts automatically. Missing native joins, finality and compatible remote proof remain technical implementation gates separately from these design findings.

    Elon record

Requirements and who asked: The user requested the three named independent medium critiques before policy approval and code; Issue58 retains its user-owned attribution-contract gate.
Deleted: Majority-vote acceptance, duplicate reviews while Grok is active, premature implementation and automatic transfer of r3 verdicts to a revised draft.
Bottleneck: Finish the existing independent review coverage and resolve the specific continuation/segment ownership boundaries in one coherent proposal.
Checked myself: Read both terminal results and complete review artifacts, confirmed both tasks have no pending child runs, and inspected the exact pinned follow-up and Claude resume source paths. No live ledger, native counters, rates, source files or delivery state changed.

What: All three r3 reviews finished; Astra is making a narrow revision in the original design job.

    • Grok Build: REVISE, artifact SHA256 64a33fc5716336536aed4eecd62338b4846a9441d2f63c1eecd255cbe5ec0f84. Auto dispatch versus selected purpose, exact export validation/storage/union, repair-preview race, and old tools/schedules compatibility.

All three tasks are completed without pending child runs. Parent read all reports and verified their hashes. Source inspection confirms auto can steer an active run and the current fleet sanitizer strips unknown fields; its task figures use whole-session usage. The prior handoff records independently checked stopped-job and native Claude resume mechanisms. A new versioned exact-task path is required; no current whole-session total becomes an exact bill merely by adding a field.

    Adjudication direction and ownership

The same Astra medium design job is running continuation ordinal 4, accepted through t3_thread_send with request key observer-58-astra-medium-design-r4-adjudicate-r3-20261016. Task remains node:delegated-task:command%3Amcp%3Aaa100901-e72e-4977-8278-2ff59fe08dc3%3Adelegate-task%3Aobserver-58-astra-medium-design-20261016-r1. Only new private spec-r4.md and adjudication-r3.md are writable. No duplicate designer or new all-scope review has been dispatched.

The packet requires one rule for purpose before delivery mode, exact stopped-job continuation ownership before run creation, start/resume segment causality, old schedule/tool omission compatibility, and versioned caller-named exact-task exports at existing owners. It also questions whether a new human purpose-repair workflow is needed at all: keeping original assertions immutable and excluding disputed execution is a smaller initial alternative. Reviewer remedies are not accepted automatically; no-MCP alone does not establish human authorization, and terminal notification alone does not establish final usage. Astra must defend every surviving requirement, retain glossary meanings, and reject unsupported findings explicitly.

Sol's approval does not override concrete counterexamples from the other reviewers. Missing native joins and finality remain technical proof gates; implementation is not required merely to decide policy, but full-cost acceptance cannot be claimed without them. All original accounting gaps, retained reports, mobile TestFlight and desktop/server delivery are preserved. No ledger sync, manual attribution, rates, source files, machine configuration or deployment changed.

What: Astra froze r4, addressing the concrete r3 ownership gaps and deleting the unrequested purpose-reassignment workflow.
Why: Original-job continuation, native child resumes, active-message intent and export compatibility need one definite contract before the user can decide policy.
So what: One focused Opus medium review is checking the changed contracts; the coordinator will present the concrete policy after adjudication, without starting implementation.

R4 resolves purpose before delivery mode: ordinary selection differing from the active run queues new work; explicit target continuation retains target purpose. Stopped original-job continuation resolves the authenticated original delegation before run creation rather than adopting the current chip. Native children require exact start/resume segment evidence; reusable task ids and original parent tool ids do not suffice. B's active response consuming A's result remains B, while A's background usage requires its own final reconciliation. Legacy omitted tools/schedules remain warned unscoped; new configurations require intent. Exact caller-named exports version validation, sanitizer, store/read and union together, without schema2 whole-session fallback.

The optional purpose-repair API, preview closure, remote repair propagation and claimed human-only route are deleted because no initial requirement needs them. Original declarations remain immutable; known erroneous/disputed accounting cannot be accepted as complete. This removes machinery rather than claiming its concurrency/authorization problems were solved.

    Independent check and continuation

All three requested r3 roasts are completed and retained separately. Their verdicts do not approve r4. Rather than repeat three broad rounds, the coordinator dispatched one new independent changed-contract check to Opus5.5 medium via Claude Code/T3:

Its brief includes the original goal, frozen r3/r4, all three prior findings and responses, unresolved native proof limits, exact source boundaries and no implementation authority. Parent will verify actual result and record dispositions. No other designer/reviewer is active on this revision under this parent.

Native identity/finality, segment boundaries, remote participation, counter reconciliation and original planner historical proof remain implementation acceptance gates. Deleted: New post-hoc purpose-repair subsystem, remote repair propagation, export revision registry/all-task export, broad idle-send inheritance and repetition of three full review rounds for a narrow amendment.
Bottleneck: Verify the changed continuation/segment/dispatch/export contracts are coherent enough for a concrete user policy decision. Missing native witnesses remain technical gates, not reviewer votes.
Checked myself: Recovered completed Astra ordinal4, read and hashed both full r4 artifacts, checked each prior finding's adjudication, and registered one distinct independent current-artifact review with unchanged read-only source limits.

What: The proposed attribution policy is ready for the user's decision after the named reviews and explicit resolution of the final narrow conditions.
Why: Whole-thread links cannot distinguish unrelated outcomes, and delegated job identity alone is not proof of which outcome a response serves.
So what: The user decides the policy below; the coordinator then updates this existing parent specification. Implementation remains unauthorized and native proof gates remain open.

    Recommended policy for decision

    • An explicitly selected typed Issue or PR owns new work. A later delivery PR displays that labeled outcome without relabeling earlier work or inventing exclusive per-PR splits.
    • Ordinary messages follow the visible selection. If a different outcome is running, Send queues new work. Human Steer/Restart, including mobile Steer, targets the running work and retains its purpose; changing the chip does not retag that work.
    • Children inherit the declared execution purpose unless explicitly started for another outcome. Exact same-job parent continuations retain the original purpose, locally and remotely. Human follow-ups in delegated threads follow their visible selection while preserving existing job binding, cohort reopening and parent notification.
    • Native resumed children require proved start/resume segment ownership. B's indivisible active response remains B-owned when it consumes A's background result; A's separate background usage still needs its own final reconciliation.
    • New task-aware calls carry explicit versioned intent; malformed new intent errors. Calls without that protocol remain warned unscoped so older running agents do not stop. Existing schedules/watches also remain warned unscoped; new or edited configurations require a choice. Such legacy usage prevents a complete outcome claim.
    • An undisputed mistaken selection is billed as declared. There is no new reassignment API, automatic intent detector or manual capture requirement. Supported contradictory evidence stays conflicting; a mistake known only from a handoff prevents accepting a generated total as full accounting rather than silently changing the ledger.
    • Caller-requested exact-task exports use the existing fleet transport/store, preserving all existing whole-session and judge data. Only proved native response members enter the exact union, with deduplication and explicit conflicts; whole-session totals never substitute for task cost. Unknown origin, finality, missing participation or exact-model price remains unknown.

    Review and amendment record

All three requested medium reviewers completed r3: Sol APPROVE_FOR_POLICY_DECISION; Opus and Grok REVISE with concrete caller/export gaps. Astra revised to frozen r4 and deleted the unnecessary purpose-repair workflow. One new focused Opus medium check returned narrow REVISE, expressly stating that the parent could verify the listed sentence-level amendments without another full round. The parent read that complete report and resolved its conditions; this is not an unconditional reviewer approval of an unseen artifact.

Final Opus task: node:delegated-task:command%3Amcp%3Aaa100901-e72e-4977-8278-2ff59fe08dc3%3Adelegate-task%3Aobserver-58-opus-medium-r4-changed-contract-check-20261016, completed without pending child runs. Review artifact SHA256 75632a5d699843fdce37901c0504d99ecf4142722085186bb36bdfe3bf1da6f8.

The addendum resolves human job binding, source-validated remote continuation, unnamed client/mobile steer, per-request compatibility discrimination, fleet export as superset and honest mistaken-declaration behavior. It introduces no session registry, new human continuation action, second fleet slot or purpose-repair subsystem.

Source checks used frozen Chromeria3caa62c7c841715988ce971e4445c696d498e488 Git objects and Observer71bcb597a3ec8a15f3c595d043fc07d0e2271b59: original follow-up user/parent binding and cohort behavior, origin-owned remote launch plus delegatedFrom forwarding, person/mobile active-target resolution, and atomic one-slot fleet storage with judge fields. The versioned request envelope is a proposed compatibility contract, not a claim that current MCP tracks old session schemas.

    Unfinished and preserved state

The user attribution-policy decision is unresolved. This comment records a proposal and review disposition, not approved parent-spec publication or implementation authority. After the decision, reconcile the parent body and required ticket decomposition under current Operations. No new implementation worker is active. Native joins, real resume boundaries, counter/finality reconciliation, delivered remote exact export and original planner historical proof remain acceptance gates; conditional design readiness does not pass them. No claim that the 549 responses have been recovered or that historical cross-machine cost is complete.

Desktop/server delivery and mobile TestFlight build4 remain preserved. No source code, ledger, ownership assignment, rates, machine configuration, deployment or cost-report publication changed during this design handoff.

Deleted: Extra broad review loop, unrequested reassignment/correction subsystem, opaque identity registry, new continuation UI, guessed MCP generation, second fleet slot, whole-session substitute, manual token bookkeeping and invented full totals.
Bottleneck: The user's concrete purpose/default policy decision. Native membership and closed final usage remain subsequent technical gates, not outcomes review votes can certify.
Checked myself: Read all frozen drafts/adjudications and complete reviews, verified final hashes and task terminal status, checked pinned continuation/remote/steer/fleet owners, and wrote explicit resolutions for the final conditions without claiming automatic native intent or dispute detection.

What: Approved outcome-accounting work is published as a three-step native dependency graph, and the first implementation job has started.
Why: Exact accounting needs a reviewed execution-purpose source before its consumer or cross-machine union can be implemented safely.
So what: The coordinator owns parent58 and current native implementation377; dependent105 and106 stay blocked until their predecessor has a complete independently reviewed exact candidate.

    Verified graph

    1. Track explicit Issue and PR purpose across runs and continuations: Track explicit Issue and PR purpose across runs and continuations chromeria#377. Blocked by: none. Delivers: visible immutable purpose at native admission, client Send/Steer behavior, child/local/remote continuation and causal source evidence.
    2. Report exact local outcomes from native execution purpose: Report exact local outcomes from native execution purpose #105. Blocked by: Chromeria377. Delivers: native response membership, truthful finality/price gaps and checkout-independent exact local reports.
    3. Combine exact outcome evidence across participating machines: Combine exact outcome evidence across participating machines #106. Blocked by: Observer105. Delivers: caller-named compatible exact exports and deduplicated union preserving whole-session/judge data, plus owning agent guidance.

All three native sub-Issue relations to parent58 and both blocked-by edges were re-fetched and verified. No duplicate outcome found among current open work; adjacent72 remains separate until its specific contract is evaluated. Parent specification body was updated and re-fetched with approved policy and Design review. User's multiple-Issue clarification and request to build supersede prior design-only state. Implementation/PR authority does not grant unrelated main replacement, merge, installation or production rollout.

Prism selected Codex gpt-6.1-sol max, verified from live thread configuration. User's named medium choices applied to the completed design/critiques; implementation selection is Prism-owned. No competing implementation or consumer writer is active under this coordinator.

The app created actual worktree /home/luke/.t3/worktrees/chromeria/t3-abace475, branch t3/native-outcome-purpose, initially at coordinator0bbedbbc5d0e60620a9f285422427f3a74da21ba rather than the requested exact base. Worker noticed before editing; parent independently verified actual binding and clean task worktree. Parent sent explicit authority to advance only that fresh exclusive clean task branch to verified live main3caa62c7c841715988ce971e4445c696d498e488 using a preserving operation, after ownership/status checks. Worker must verify and record final base before any implementation. No claim that requested workspace strategy was honored. Do not reset canonical main, coordinator or other worktrees; dirty/untracked user files remain untouched. If correction is unsafe, only that step blocks; do not duplicate the writer.

Parent subsequently verified the actual task worktree is clean at exact3caa62c7c841715988ce971e4445c696d498e488. The base mismatch is resolved before source edits; the writer can proceed in its actual app-bound branch.

Native main remains verified3caa; Observer main71bcb597. Canonical Chromeria local main remains stale with user-owned untracked scripts/pycache; other pre-existing worktrees have unknown ownership and are preserved. New work never pulls/resets those. Prior desktop/server and TestFlight delivery remain untouched.

    Acceptance and next action

The worker reads the full parent/native Issue and private frozen r4/addendum, checks upstream, implements the smallest contract and meaningful focused tests, and opens a draft/reviewable PR with early T3 registration and durable377 handoff. No version bump or live userdata server. Primary owns independent exact-head reviews and the one integrated UI pass within applicable permission. Observer105 stays blocked until native schema/capability/proof at a reviewed exact head is ready. Native finality gaps cannot be silently accepted as full cost.

No new PR exists yet. No merge, deployment, ledger sync, token capture or cost publication is claimed. The dedicated worker's actual PR will be linked early when it exists; mixed parent accounting is not assigned manually.

Requirements and who asked: User accepted the multi-Issue explanation and asked to build the reviewed outcome-accounting design. Parent58 records exact policy, named design reviews and scope.
Deleted: Duplicate active workers, premature consumer parallelism, moving/stale main implementation, native branch overwrite, manual ownership bookkeeping and unauthorized production rollout.
Bottleneck: Native purpose/causal source and meaningful proof, then an independently reviewed source handoff to exact accounting. Dependency edges express this waiting point.
Checked myself: Live GitHub main tips and open work, complete parent/current Issue state, native child/blocking relations, Prism configuration, actual worker binding and clean initial task checkout, plus the worker's pre-edit base-mismatch observation. No native implementation proof is claimed yet.

What: The supported Rocky #379 export still omits its new live planner/delegated implementation while reporting historical scope as complete.
Why: Current task output lists only earlier specification sessions, no active task turns or delegations, zero attributed responses, 318 unplaced responses and four unpriced Grok responses shared with #371/#373.
So what: Keep #379 full cost unknown under #58; implementation continues without manual ownership or pricing changes.

Observed after successful supported sync and task show --task toolboxmd/chromeria#379 --json, snapshot 2d06bf541fdb216806bfa4f0b3512e8d6b6f94865faf2af3993ec7b6ecc0f36c. The current top-level planner and visible #380 delegated implementation are both running in new task worktrees. Export coverage.complete=true and has_active_work=false do not prove complete current outcome membership. This is additional evidence for the existing native-purpose/coverage work, not a new accounting policy or request to place historical usage manually. Sanitized continuation: toolboxmd/chromeria#379 (comment).

What: Supported Observer sync/publish succeeded for Chromeria #382, but its cost remains unknown and evidence incomplete.
Why: The generated report retains unpriced, unplaced and missing-usage coverage rather than claiming a complete task total.
So what: Preserve this measured gap under the existing accounting outcome; #379 continues without manual attribution, rates or a zero-cost claim.

Current report toolboxmd/chromeria#410 (comment), snapshot8b9460f902ea24c20c3a78273e9f9db52ebfbd09e2fa7fd18cd0b8834fecb025, cutoff2026-10-18T02:27UTC:34sessions,13unpricedGrokresponses,1sessionwithoutusage,3055unplacedresponses excluded(at least$103.19 partial priced exclusion, NOT task cost),552elsewhere, overlap6other tasks. The sequential supported sync exited0 and reported retained import_errors: T3 116, Claude9768, Grok9524, Codex0, OpenCode0, router0. Cause/count semantics beyond the tool output are UNKNOWN here; counts alone do not prove regression or lost source data. Raw local aggregate log retained /tmp/chromeria-382-observer-sync-r1.log; publish log /tmp/chromeria-382-observer-publish-r1.log. No native transcript parsing/export, source/price/assignment edits, ledger surgery, installs or Observer implementation attempted. Existing #58 owns the unresolved accounting outcome; this is current evidence, not a request to widen #379 or change its attribution policy.

What: Supported Rocky sync and publish still do not establish a complete #379 cost after four internal implementation components, both-review rounds and real provider acceptance.
Why: The latest report has nine sessions/four unpriced Grok responses and excludes318 responses, while claiming its scoped evidence is complete; this does not reconcile the known current outcome executions.
So what: Keep full #379 cost unknown under existing #58; no manual attribution, price edits or accounting implementation is added to Chromeria #379.

After supported agent-observer sync exited0, supported publish updated toolboxmd/chromeria#416 (comment), snapshot66f3b978c5b2b59681634553f3597044ba895fec4a9740b139cf39c295feb8de, cutoff2026-10-18 10:14UTC. The renderer reports estimated costUNKNOWN,4responses/9sessions/4.5h, all4grok-4.7MEDIUM unpriced, sharedwith2othertasks;318responses/$10.25 excluded from nonsingle-PR checkouts. That exclusion is a partial observed priced amount, not task cost or subscription spending. Totalsreconcile/evidencecompleteYES is scoped to that selected measured population, not proof of full379 membership/native finality/remote participation. This is distinct from earlier34-session/3055-exclusion report, whose count change remains unexplained here; do not merge populations or infer source loss.

Actual known work remains explicit in #379 continuation6242465878 and current369 acceptance6248654223: parentSolMEDIUM, Sol implementers and both new independent Sol/Grok MEDIUM reviews, four reviewed internal PRs391/392/410/416, real isolatedCodexA/B provider tasks. No response membership was guessed or repaired. Original spec-thread$0 is never adopted as total.

Requirements and who asked: User379 requires supported Observer workflow with truthful gaps and no manual rates/attribution.
Deleted: Full-cost/zero-cost inference, manual session placement, native transcript export and a competing accounting fix.
Bottleneck: #58 owns explicit native outcome membership/finality and current report coverage.
Checked myself: Supported sync exit0/publishupdated actualcomment, current immutable snapshot/cutoff and unpriced/excluded/complete fields, separate known execution records.

What: PR419 provides another explicitly partial outcome-accounting example for this existing work.
Why: The local attributable subset reconciles while 1,816 shared-session responses remain unplaced and the participating Mac ledgers have no PR419 task.
So what: Preserve these limits in Issue58 acceptance; no Observer changes or manual attribution were made under the absorption task.

Published report and qualification: 898 attributable/priced responses, $36.35 API-equivalent subtotal, selected exact-model schedule dated2026-10-15. Local and cavallo sync had no source failures; rocky sync returned18 Codex source failures with UNIQUE constraint failed: user_messages.native_id. Both remote task queries returned unknown PR419. Native reported cost and subscription spending are unknown. This is aggregate evidence, not a request to infer historical ownership or alter prices. Private supported-command JSON is retained in the current absorption handoff, outside tracked source.

Requirements and who asked: User requires honest scoped reporting, while Issue58 owns outcome accounting.
Deleted: Complete-total claims, manual assignments and unrelated repairs.
Bottleneck: Native attribution and compatible cross-machine task evidence.
Checked myself: Ran supported sync/task-show on all three hosts, inspected dry-run and verified published body.

What: Chromeria Issue411/build5 cost remains partial after native acceptance and signed TestFlight upload.
Why: Rocky's supported sync exited1 at identity.refresh_session_versions with sqlite3.OperationalError: database is locked; one normal retry is pending, bestia's sync waits for another writer, and both Mac task queries report unknown toolboxmd/chromeria#419.
So what: This is retained as operational evidence for the owning accounting work; Issue411 continues Apple processing verification without altering Observer, assigning ownership manually or claiming complete cost.

Completed local task reporting reconciles27sessions,1215 priced attributed Codex responses plus2 shared unpriced Grok responses;2948 unplaced responses are excluded. PR419's existing supported report and aggregate clarification were updated in place, preserving pricing/attribution gaps and avoiding whole-thread spend. Raw JSON and error logs remain private. No source, ledger, rate or account changes were attempted.

Requirements and who asked: User required a truthful PR-scoped Observer report including native/build/recovery work in Chromeria Issue411.
Deleted: Manual ownership repair, invented exact-model prices, tool installation and complete-total claims.

What: A fresh dedicated implementation session could not obtain task-specific ownership for toolboxmd/agentsmd#251 and #252.
Why: Its imported session_assignments already contain twelve task bindings, including unrelated outcomes, while its one genuine user message has no assignment.
So what: The implementation's Observer comment is published with incomplete-coverage caveats; native-purpose accounting under this Issue should retain this case.

Observed on bestia while delivering toolboxmd/agentsmd#257. sync --harness codex --harness t3 completed successfully. Read-only ledger inspection showed 34 imported responses for the dedicated worktree session, twelve pre-existing session bindings and no genuine-message assignment. capture assign-session --exclusive returned ownership conflict or missing evidence for exclusive session; both a specific capture assign and its --shared variant returned ownership conflict: session already bound to another task. No ownership overrides or ledger edits were made.

Primary sources checked: the installed CLI's help, README Ownership and tasks / GitHub summaries, task show coverage, native-session trace, read-only ledger rows for this session, and the conflict checks in agent_observer/cli.py. The available report shows zero attributed responses and historical shared work, so publication success cannot establish the current implementation's complete cost. This is evidence for #58's existing whole-session/native-purpose boundary, not a proposed manual-attribution workaround.

What: The #560 Mac rollout still has an explicit cross-machine attribution gap after supported Observer syncs.
Why: Rocky cannot resolve task toolboxmd/chromeria#560, while Cavallo's task export includes measured but unbound/unplaced usage and zero attributed responses despite reporting complete=true.
So what: The rollout owner will publish only a qualified partial PR-scoped report; no manual token ownership, invented zero total, Observer code change or tool installation is being performed under the deployment task.

Supported commands: sync --json, then task show --task toolboxmd/chromeria#560 --json. Rocky sync completes without failed source entries, but the task query exits2 with unknown task: toolboxmd/chromeria#560. Cavallo uses its existing installed1.4.2 owner after discovery of the supported launcher; task query exits3, export reports0attributed/39unplaced responses from the actual callback session and includes that session in coverage.unbound_usage. Its top-level complete/estimated-cost-complete zero fields are therefore not accepted as complete task cost. Native usage exists; attribution remains unknown. No session identifier, prompt, private path, transcript or raw provider output is published here. Bestia's incremental sync remains active at this snapshot, so this is not a final cross-machine total.

Current task owner/handoff: toolboxmd/chromeria#411 (comment) . This is additional evidence for existing Issue58, not a competing implementation or a request to modify measurement code during rollout. Supported source/rate/coverage exports remain private; final cost publication must distinguish task-attributed priced API equivalents from excluded shared/unplaced usage and actual subscription spend.

Requirements and who asked: User requires readable PR-scoped cross-machine costs, exact source/rate coverage and honest partial status when attribution is unavailable.
Deleted: Zero-cost claim, manual assignment, whole-conversation substitution and an unrelated Observer repair in the deployment task.
Bottleneck: Supported automatic binding of actual post-merge native callback work to the PR across machines.
Checked myself: Actual supported sync/query exit codes and JSON coverage/attribution/complete fields, installed Cavallo launcher/skill, active Bestia sync process and the existing Issue58 ownership.
