Fixes #851

Since #452 removed RUST_VERSION from the workflow, the nightly block in ci/test-stable.sh has been skipped because RUST_VERSION is unset. In addition, running cargo update -Z minimal-versions resolves serde 1.0.60, which fails to compile with the alloc feature enabled (unresolved imports alloc::BTreeMap...).

This change:

  1. Detects the nightly toolchain in ci/test-stable.sh using the active rustc version output so the benchmark and minimal-versions checks run on the nightly CI job.
  2. Raises the serde dependency floor in Cargo.toml from 1.0.60 to 1.0.70, the first release where serde with features = ["alloc"] compiles under minimal-versions.

…s#851)

Check the active rustc toolchain version in ci/test-stable.sh instead of the unset RUST_VERSION environment variable so the benchmark and minimal-versions checks run on the nightly CI job, and raise the minimum serde version from 1.0.60 to 1.0.70 where the alloc feature compiles cleanly.
