Auto da Espera

Auto da Espera is a fictional black-and-white administrative browser artwork. It is not an official service and does not use official branding, copied forms, real application IDs, or real instructions.

Run Locally

Install dependencies:

npm install

Start the development server:

npm run dev

Build the production files:

npm run build

The app is configured for GitHub Pages under /loadinghome/. GitHub Pages must use GitHub Actions deployment so Vite serves the built dist bundle.

Installation

Recommended presentation: fullscreen browser or kiosk mode on a dedicated monitor. The work can be shown interactively or unattended using ?mode=exhibition.

No server-side component is required after the static build is deployed. The Lekton font is self-hosted in the repository under the SIL Open Font License.

Museum package:

Privacy

No analytics, tracking, external APIs, cookies, uploads, or localStorage are used. Form entries stay only in the current browser session.
