Why
The previous runner predates Codex support for the GPT-6 family. Per the upstream release notes: GPT-6 Sol and Luna were added in 0.156.1/0.157.0, and GPT-6.1 Sol in 0.159.1. 0.160.1 is the current stable release and includes all of them.
Verification
npm install --package-lock-onlyresolved cleanly; the lock diff touches only@openai/codexrecords, and no0.144.6references remain.pnpm verify; these remain subject to CI/release gates.Rollout
This PR does not upgrade running workspaces or change agent manifests. Build/publish the reviewed runner image through the normal release flow. Existing persistent workspaces need a separately managed upgrade with retained data and a rollback path. Model selection and credentials remain project-owned. After rollout, verify fresh and resumed Codex sessions.
