The conditioning study's spread-against-alpha figure labelled its y axis only "largest spread", without saying of what.

  • Figure (studies/conditioning/src/figures.rs): the y axis is now the measure itself, max_v max_k |q_v − q_{v,k}| / max(|q_v|, |q_{v,k}|, 1), under a title naming the quantities (α, CL, CM, CD, CDp, CDf, x_tr) and twins (k = 1…5). The legend takes one column to leave room for the label.
  • Page (docs/validation/conditioning/index.md): "The measure" states the same equation as a display formula.
  • Published figure: redrawn from the existing run (2026-10-23T23-04-46Z) with --render and published; it is the only file the publish changed.

…the page

The spread-against-alpha figure's y axis said only "largest spread". It now
carries the measure itself, max over quantities v and twins k of
|q_v - q_{v,k}| / max(|q_v|, |q_{v,k}|, 1), under a title naming the quantities
and twins; the legend takes one column to leave room for the label. The
conditioning page states the same equation where it defines the measure.
