[Feature] App Exclusion list List for Accessibility #416
Add an app exclusion list that lets users disable Quick Search accessibility for specific apps, such as payment gateways and UPI apps.
Why do you think this feature is necessary?
I use Edge swipe gestures, which require accessibility services to be enabled. However, whenever I try to make an online payment, the payment app detects Quick Search's accessibility service and blocks the transaction until I disable it. I have to turn Quick Search accessibility off before every payment and back on afterward, which is frustrating and easy to forget.
Notably, other apps that also use accessibility services (such as content blockers) are not flagged by these payment apps — only Quick Search triggers the warning. This suggests the issue is specific to how Quick Search's accessibility service is identified, and an exclusion list would let users keep gestures working while avoiding false positives from payment apps.
Hello, unfortunately, this is not possible. Android doesn't provide a way for us to do that. Only user can enable/disable accessibility settings for apps.
