Below is the error for which this fix is proposed
Description
After using drag-and-drop for some time, the application starts failing with the following error:
Windows Error: No such interface supported (0x80004002)
src/win32/drag.rs
The issue is temporary—restarting the application restores drag-and-drop functionality until it eventually fails again.
Possible Cause
It appears that the COM interface used for drag-and-drop becomes stale over time.
Potential Fix
I suspect the issue may be caused by OLE/COM not being initialized correctly for the drag operation. A possible fix would be to call OleInitialize at the very beginning of the drag-start function to ensure the required COM apartment is initialized before any drag-and-drop operations are performed.
