VoIPLab

A Kubernetes-based VoIP laboratory environment.

Prerequisites

  • Kubernetes cluster (v1.20+)
  • kubectl installed and configured
  • kustomize (v3.0+) or built-in kubectl kustomize support
  • Docker (for building custom images if needed)
  • Sufficient cluster resources (CPU, memory, storage)

Quick Start

1. Deploy with Kustomize

Deploy to the default namespace ("voip"):

cd voipLab/kamailio_FS_k3s_kustomize
kubectl apply -k ./

Or deploy to a specific namespace:

kubectl apply -k ./ -n voiplab
kustomize build ./ | kubectl apply -f - -n voiplab

2. Verify Deployment

kubectl get pods -n voip
kubectl get svc -n voip
kubectl logs -f deployment/<deployment-name> -n voip

Configuration

Customize deployments using overlays:

kubectl apply -k ./overlays/production

Cleanup

Remove all resources:

kubectl delete -k ./

Troubleshooting

  • Check pod status: kubectl describe pod <pod-name> -n voip
  • View logs: kubectl logs <pod-name> -n voip
  • Verify services: kubectl get svc -n voip

Support

For issues, check logs or refer to Kubernetes documentation.
