What changed

  • ships the simplified two-tab Environment Overview and SBOM dashboard with independent rendering failure boundaries
  • adds command-specific help, compact preflight output, environment/version evidence improvements, and focused module boundaries
  • improves Windows atomic-write reliability and simplifies GitHub Action defaults
  • updates market evidence, release metadata, changelog, tester guidance, and APM version references for 0.2.2
  • extends the installed-package gate to generate and verify the simplified dashboard from the actual packed tarball

Why

The simplified dashboard and subsequent reliability/usability improvements were developed after npm 0.2.1 was published. Because npm versions are immutable, these changes require a new 0.2.2 release rather than reusing 0.2.1.

User impact

npx aienvmap@0.2.2 dash --open will show the concise environment overview and separate SBOM tab. Existing AI-readable JSON root fields remain frozen and additive from the 0.2.0 compatibility floor. The package remains dependency-free and advisory-only.

Validation

  • npm run release:check
  • 408 tests: 407 passed, 0 failed, 1 platform skip
  • contract freeze verified across 15 surfaces
  • performance budgets passed
  • packed size about 249.1 KB with zero runtime dependencies
  • installed tarball check reports simplifiedDashboardVerified: true
