Thirty years of building and owning software that real businesses depend on every day — from 16 years as CTO/Software Architect of a PCI Level 2 e-commerce operation, through engineering leadership at Trackunit, ZTR, and Carfax, to running EcoWorks Web Architecture today.

Most of what's here was built with AI coding agents as core development capacity — Claude Code and the Claude API — not as a novelty. I direct agents at complex objectives, review what comes back critically, and decide what's actually safe to ship. The interesting question isn't who wrote a function. It's whether the system works at 2 a.m.

• AI Appointment Booking & Patient Chat — Conversational booking and patient intake, Claude-powered, built for real clinic workflows rather than a demo happy path.
• OSCAR EMR Integration — Integration layer against OSCAR, Ontario's dominant open-source EMR: clinical data access, appointment/scheduling surfaces, and the messy reality of working with an EMR whose implementations don't always match the documentation.
• Bluewater Area Family Health Team — Production web platform for a multi-site Ontario family health team, including a custom Claude-integrated chat plugin. Real patients, real accessibility requirements, elderly-first UX.

Handling regulated data is not new ground for me: I held Level 2 PCI compliance through recurring external audits for 16 years at TLC Pet Food.

• Handled — Booking and lead-qualification SaaS. React/TypeScript front end, Express API, PostgreSQL, Clerk auth — multi-tenant architecture, the same shape as a clinical operations platform.
• Domain Commerce MCP — Production MCP server over the Tucows/OpenSRS API (20-year affiliate registrar). Real third-party API integration: OAuth, rate limits, partial failures, money changing hands.
• SSL Factory — Automated certificate provisioning and renewal. Boring, unglamorous, and exactly the kind of thing that takes a platform down when nobody owns it.
• Utility Monitor — Computer-vision water meter reading (YOLOv8 + OCR) with a self-hosted Docker/MQTT/PostgreSQL pipeline. Edge capture through to time-series storage and alerting.

• claude-code-sounds — Audio feedback for Claude Code using native macOS sounds and TTS. Swift.
• Video Documentation & Generation — Automated analysis and documentation generation with the Claude Vision API.
• Local Podcast — Local-first document-to-audio generation pipeline, self-hosted end to end.
• MCP servers over live operational data — financial, IoT sensor, and geospatial datasets exposed as conversational tooling.

• Production ownership — monitoring, incident response, migrations, rollback discipline. I don't panic when prod behaves differently from staging.
• Regulated-data experience — PCI Level 2 through external audit; healthcare clients under PHIPA expectations.
• AI as leverage, with judgment — aggressive use of coding agents, paired with knowing when the output is wrong.
• Leadership when it's needed — led front-end and back-end teams at Carfax to ship a top-ranked React Native consumer app ahead of schedule; know how to decide when a platform actually needs more people, and what to hire for.
• Three decades of perspective — I've watched tech cycles come and go and I know what holds up.
