chore(frontend): enforce layer boundaries with Biome and record ADR 0027 - #2327
Conversation
The frontend had no enforced dependency direction and no single owner for Jotai state. Generic layers import features, features import each other, and atoms are declared in hook files as well as store modules. ADR 0027 (proposed) defines downward-only layers and explicit state ownership. This change adds the guardrails the current code already satisfies: - per-layer noRestrictedImports overrides in .config/biome/frontend-boundaries.jsonc, extended from biome.jsonc - noImportCycles, noBarrelFile and noReExportAll - a GritQL plugin that rejects module-scope `let` outside store modules Constraints that still have violations are recorded as pending exceptions tied to the migration slices in #2325, deferred to 1.12.0. No application code changes. Every enforced and pending constraint was proven with per-scope canary imports (107 reject/allow checks), because a mistyped Biome scope silently disables a rule instead of failing.

- Around line 303-308: Add store-specific Biome overrides for settings, menu,
and updater modeled on “Feature hardware: store,” allowing each store directory
to import its own feature modules while retaining the other layer restrictions.
Update the existing tray override to exclude `src/features/tray/store/**` so
tray store files use the appropriate store rules.
- Line 424: Update the feature boundary pattern groups after each
`!@/features/.../**` exemption so the exemption does not also allow
cross-feature imports from components or hooks; add the narrower component and
hook patterns applicable to each group, including hardware. Keep any pattern
with unresolved violations marked pending until its migration is complete.

- Feature store and hooks overrides admitted their whole feature through `!@/features/<f>/**`, so a store or hook could import the feature's own components. They now admit only a closed allow-list (store, types, consts, utils, funcs, plus hooks for hooks, plus hardware/gpuIdentity). - `import * as X from "jotai"` (or "@/rspc/bindings") bypassed every importNames restriction. `*` is now restricted wherever names are. - Foundation and store layers now also ban `react/**` and `react-dom/**`. - settings, menu, tray and updater get store and hooks overrides, so a feature store module that declares atoms passes instead of falling into the catch-all. Proven with 147 reject/allow canary checks.
The develop merge brought jotai 3.0.1 and Biome 2.5.15. - jotai 3 adds `INTERNAL_overrideCreateStore`, now restricted wherever `createStore` is, and the read-only `useAtomValueRaw` / `useAtomValueRawSync`, now restricted in store modules alongside `useAtomValue`. An export missing from the lists is silently allowed, so the design doc asks to re-check them on every jotai upgrade. - Reformat the GritQL plugin for Biome 2.5.15's formatter. Re-proven on Biome 2.5.15 with 154 reject/allow canary checks.

The jotai-exports note was inserted between table rows, so the module-scope let and cycle/barrel rows stopped rendering as table rows.

Summary
The frontend has no enforced dependency direction and no single owner for Jotai state:
This PR records the target in ADR 0027 (proposed) and lets Biome enforce every constraint the current code already satisfies. It changes no application code. The structural migration is tracked in #2325 and deferred to 1.12.0 development.
What is enforced now
.config/biome/frontend-boundaries.jsonc, extended frombiome.jsonc, holds onenoRestrictedImportsoverride per layer scope. It enforces:../importsstore/modules, and components only readcommandsoreventscalls from UI primitives@/features/**imports, so a new feature fails lint until it is configured.noImportCycles,noBarrelFile, andnoReExportAllare errors..config/biome/no-module-scope-let.grit, rejects module-scopeletoutsidestore/modules.Pending exceptions
A target constraint that the current code still violates is commented out as
