Pompa Program (Head of Engineering, 2024–present) Architected a microservice, event-driven backend (Step Functions, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge via AWS CDK) to improve reuse, scalability, and supportability. Established SDLC/change-control SOPs, CI/CD pipelines, and observability (Sentry). Recruited and mentored the engineering team while staying hands-on in design and code review.
Tao Connect (Director, Software Development, 2019–2022) Owned product and technology roadmap for a HIPAA-compliant platform. Delivered multi-tenant SSO (OAuth/SAML2) and Stripe payments; launched HIPAA-compliant video conferencing that cut per-participant cost from $0.04 to $0.007/min. Led a team of 7 engineers plus support, DevOps, and product stakeholders, and partnered with 100+ university technical liaisons on integrations.
Travelopia (Solutions Architect & Team Lead, 2014–2018) Architected a multi-tenant, cloud-hosted e-commerce PaaS (Drupal/PHP) serving 13 travel companies, with PCI/PII/GDPR-compliant payment processing. Managed and mentored a team of 3 on OOP and Symfony architecture and design.

- mautic/mautic — contributor to a 10k★ open-source marketing automation platform (PHP). Working inside a large, actively-maintained codebase with an external contributor community.
- TheDMSGroup/mautic-contact-client — built at Digital Media Solutions to let non-engineers create custom integrations without writing code (a self-serve, Zapier-style layer over Mautic). Grew out of the lead-processing platform work referenced below.
