Sixel is an ancient graphics protocol and is supported by xterm as well as most modern terminals. The only notable exception is Gnome Terminal. You can check support status on https://www.arewesixelyet.com/ although it incorrectly listed Windows Terminal as unsupported. Kitty and iterm2 protocols are arguably better protocols but they are less commonly supported
There are already lots of terminal pdf viewers supporting those protocols, so it'll be great if green also gains that feature
