Tejasvi Kumar

Software engineer focused on quantitative trading, DeFi, distributed systems, and financial infrastructure.

I enjoy turning mathematical and financial concepts into production-oriented software — from trading infrastructure and market-making systems to on-chain protocols and developer tooling.

Areas of Focus

  • Quantitative Trading & Market Microstructure — market making, liquidity, inventory management, execution, PnL modeling, and trading infrastructure.
  • DeFi & Blockchain — smart contracts, staking mechanisms, tokenization, and decentralized financial infrastructure.
  • Trading Systems Engineering — simulation, backtesting, matching engines, RFQ systems, and real-time data pipelines.
  • Quantitative Development — probability, stochastic processes, Monte Carlo simulation, optimization, and market-regime analysis.
  • Full-Stack Development — building applications and interfaces around the infrastructure underneath them.

Current Work

Luminosity Labs

Working on crypto quantitative trading infrastructure on Solana, with a focus on market making, execution systems, liquidity, and capital efficiency.

My work spans the intersection of market microstructure, quantitative models, and production software systems.

Lucent

Building Lucent, a synthetic staking and capital-efficiency protocol designed around increasing the amount of capital that can be productively deployed by liquidity providers and market makers.

The project combines DeFi protocol design, smart contracts, and quantitative financial mechanisms.

Quantitative Systems

Developing a broader quantitative systems stack covering:

  • Monte Carlo simulation
  • Stochastic processes
  • Market regime detection
  • Inventory and risk simulation
  • Order books and matching engines
  • RFQ and liquidation engines
  • Backtesting infrastructure
  • Strategy optimization
  • Market-making systems
  • PnL and performance analytics

The objective is to understand how these individual components come together to form robust production trading systems.

Lunar Navigation

Developed a computer-vision and geospatial project focused on identifying potentially safe navigation routes on the Moon using Chandrayaan imagery.

Interests

I am particularly interested in problems at the intersection of:

Markets × Mathematics × Software × Decentralization

I enjoy working on systems where the underlying engineering, mathematical model, and economic mechanism all matter — whether that means designing a market-making strategy, modeling risk, building an execution engine, or implementing an on-chain financial protocol.

Connect

Building systems, learning continuously, and understanding how things work under the hood.
