Can't install on Sequoia 15.7.9

I tried to install Compositor on my MacBook Pro M3 Max from 2023, but unfortunately without success.

I'm getting an error window every time:

the app is built for macos 26+ (uses api that do not exist in older versions), but i have remove them and make a version that work in macos 14+

I've lunched a build, you can find it on the releases, i need to update it, or u can build it ur self, u cant bleve how easy it is

@Assim-Genshi release packaging issues:

• expands to Contents folder, not Compositor.app
• it's Intel-only, not Universal, so there's no ARM part
• it's a Debug build not Release, so it's slower

You can get your agent to do a proper release

Thanks for the interest. Compositor needs macOS 26 and I'm keeping it that way for now. It uses features that only exist in 26, and supporting older versions would mean building and testing fallbacks for each one, every release, which isn't something I can take on while maintaining it alone.

It's open source under the MIT license, so you're welcome to fork it and adapt it for older versions. I just can't support those builds, and I don't have a Mac running macOS 15 to verify them on. Closing for now.
