Rotten IMDB

What is it?

Rotten IMDB is a Chrome extension that allows you to quickly look up highlighted text on Rotten Tomatoes or IMDB

How to use

Highlight some text in your browser.

1. Right-click and select Rotten IMDB > `Rotten# Rotten IMDB

2. Wait a few ticks.

3. Right-click again and Rotten IMDB should now have additional items. You can click on these items to open the appropriate page.

   • Rotten Tomatoes has a list of movies and TV shows for your query, with score and :) :( rotten rating.
   • IMDB has a list of movies and TV shows with the IMDB rating.

How to build

This repo comes pre-built. But you can do:

yarn install and then yarn build

How to install

• go to chrome://extensions
• check Developer mode (top right)
• click Load unpacked extension... (top left)
• point it ./dist (the folder that contains manifest.json)
• click Select Tomatoes. or Right-click and select Rotten IMDB>IMDB`.
