What this changes
Workspace version 0.3.0 -> 0.4.0 (Cargo.toml, Cargo.lock); CHANGELOG already carries the 0.4.0 section (#74); CONTRIBUTING release example bumped.
Why
The canvas-style shell (#74) is the 0.4.0 release.
How it was verified
The gate ran on #74 (fmt, clippy -D warnings, test --workspace: 100 passed, release build, one :0 run). This PR changes version strings only.
