[Android] android:navigationBarColor is not respected in RN version 0.86.0 #57867

Closed as not planned

Description

@DaliaElhefny

Description

After upgrading to RN version 0.86.0, I cannot change the navigation bar color using
@android:color/black
in android/app/src/main/res/values/styles.xml

I can change it programmatically in the main activity, but this will be applied only to this activity not all the created activities (ex. Modal)

Steps to reproduce

Prerequisite:
Having RN version 0.86.0

Steps:

 1. Add
@android:color/black
inside android/app/src/main/res/values/styles.xml
 2. Run the App for Android

React Native Version

0.86.0
