What changed in this PR
Updates CHANGELOG.md to introduce a new 2.5.0 section, but in doing so it removes a large portion of prior release history and some standard changelog metadata.
Changes:
- Add a
2.5.0header and list of PRs/issues included. - Remove previous version sections (2.4.1 → 1.0.0), including compare links and release dates.
- Add a single historical “Add changelog for release 1.1.0” commit line at the end of the
2.5.0section.
