Update: workflow now enables auto-merge for formatting-fix PRs created by this action (PRs will auto-merge when checks pass). Draft diagnostic PRs remain as drafts for manual triage. |
|
Update: formatting PRs created by this workflow will now be labeled uto-fix (the workflow creates the label if missing). |

Update: the workflow now creates non-draft diagnostic PRs (label ci-fail will be created if missing). These PRs are intended for human triage; formatting PRs still auto-merge when checks pass. |
Adds a workflow that runs when the main CI workflow fails, attempts to apply formatting fixes (ruff/black), and opens a PR with fixes or a diagnostic draft PR for human triage. The scope is intentionally limited to safe formatting auto-fixes; non-trivial failures are opened as draft PRs for review.
