Handle class and class_path in validation models #379

For the configuration schemas, pydantic should accept both the fields class and class_path. Problem is that it is currently broken because _parse_configuration now includes:

            ConfigurationSchema.model_validate(validated_dict, extra="allow")
            return validated_dict

which breaks it. Debugging is needed to understand why and find a workaround.
