Domain Profiling Discord Bot

This project is a Discord bot designed to provide detailed domain profiling directly within Discord servers. The bot can analyze domains, retrieve WHOIS information, resolve DNS records, check IP details, and fetch related data from Wikidata, making it a powerful tool for server admins, cybersecurity enthusiasts, and anyone interested in domain intelligence.

Features

  • Domain Profiling: Get comprehensive information about any domain name.
  • WHOIS Lookup: Retrieve registration details, expiration dates, and ownership info.
  • DNS Resolution: Resolve domain DNS records (A, AAAA, MX, etc.).
  • IP Information: Get geolocation and network details for domain IPs.
  • Wikidata Integration: Fetch additional metadata about domains from Wikidata.
  • Discord Integration: Interact with the bot using Discord commands.

Project Structure

bot.js # Main entry point for the Discord bot
server.js # (Optional) HTTP server for health checks or webhooks
controllers/
domainController.js # Handles domain profiling logic and command processing
routes/
domainRoutes.js # (If using HTTP server) API routes for domain actions
services/
ipService.js # Service for IP lookup and geolocation
whoisService.js # Service for WHOIS queries
wikidataService.js # Service for fetching Wikidata info
utils/
dnsResolver.js # Utility for DNS resolution
package.json # Project dependencies and scripts
.env # Environment variables (Discord token, API keys, etc.)

Setup Instructions

  1. Clone the repository

    git clone <repo-url>
    cd domain profiling

  2. Install dependencies

    npm install

  3. Configure environment variables

  • Use commands (e.g., /profile <domain>) to get domain information.
  • The bot will respond with detailed profiling results in the channel.

Requirements

  • Node.js (v14 or higher recommended)
  • Discord bot token
