Surface sync for 2026-08-11. Three additive changes; no removals.
1. gen_create_video: add seedance-2.5 model. Routes to job_type
seedance_2_5_video_generation (new branch BEFORE seedance-2.0).
seedance-2.5 only supports 480p/720p — 1080p is rejected by the
provider, so coerce down to its default 720p client-side
(_SEEDANCE_25_RESOLUTIONS guard). Added to _VIDEO_MODELS.
2. gen_list_rows: add optional sort_direction param (GEN-4982).
'desc' returns newest rows first (position descending); omitted
or unrecognized falls back to the default ascending order.
Mirrors spreadsheet_rows_controller#row_sort_direction.
3. New tool gen_draft_test_recurring_job: tests an UNSAVED recurring
job once via POST /agents/{id}/recurring-jobs/draft-test
(configure -> Test -> Save flow). Distinct from
gen_run_recurring_job_now (saved-job test-run). Optional job_id
updates an existing draft instead of leaving abandoned ones.
Paid-media gated (402) — spends real provider money.
reference.py: tool count 143 -> 150 (stale on origin/main + this run's
+1). Step 3 table gains a gen_draft_test_recurring_job row.
version 1.0.0 -> 1.1.0 (new tool + new model).
Carry-forward note: seedance-2.5 and sort_direction have been
re-applied every run since 0805 (9th day) — auto/api-sync branches are
not being merged by the orchestrator.
Load check PASS: 150 tools, v1.1.0.

Two new Step-3 monitoring tools for the gen-agentic run-history endpoints:
- gen_list_recurring_job_runs: GET /recurring-jobs/{job_id}/runs (newest-first,
limit 1-100, offset) — the activity log for an automation
- gen_get_recurring_job_run: GET /recurring-jobs/{job_id}/runs/{run_id} — one
run with its ordered tool-call steps trace + final answer
Carry-forward preserved (seedance-2.5 res constraint, gen_list_rows
sort_direction, gen_draft_test_recurring_job). Tool count 150 -> 152.

Rebased onto origin/main (3c0e8c0) so gen_transcribe (GEN-5364, PR #30) is included. Carry-forward set re-verified against live backends: - seedance-2.5 model + 480p/720p resolution coercion - gen_list_rows sort_direction (GEN-4982) - gen_draft_test_recurring_job (POST /v1/agents/{id}/recurring-jobs/draft-test) - gen_list_recurring_job_runs (GET .../recurring-jobs/{jid}/runs) - gen_get_recurring_job_run (GET .../recurring-jobs/{jid}/runs/{rid}) All three recurring-job endpoints confirmed in gen-agentic src/gen/recurring_jobs_api.py (draft-test:640, runs:1253, run:1288), mounted at server.py:1969. - gen_list_rows_delta: GET /vidsheet/{id}/rows/delta — cursor-based changed-rows
polling (rows/row_ids/cursor; inclusive >=; cursor never advances past
delivered rows; 422 invalid_cursor). Efficient alternative to re-listing rows
while watching a busy sheet; row_ids drives deletion reconciliation.
- gen_list_cell_jobs: GET /vidsheet/{id}/cells/{cell_id}/user_jobs — per-cell
(or per video_layer_id) generation/job history, bare array, 404 on unknown
cell/layer.
- gen_preview_recurring_job_prompt: POST /agents/{id}/recurring-jobs/preview-parse
— parse a prompt into row strategy + actions without saving; would_apply
semantics vs existing_actions; free/read-only (pure parse, no LLM).
reference.py: three new table rows (Step 4 x2, Step 5 x1) + tool count 154->157.
seedance-2.5 intentionally NOT added to video_from_text enums: backend
SEEDANCE_VIDEO_GENERATION_SCHEMA model enum excludes it and the 2.5 job type
is separate, so the cell path rejects it (422) — it remains gen_create_video
only, matching the existing carry-forward scope.
