- Storage layout is the IndexedDB version (schema.js). An older layout is upgraded in the upgrade transaction, all or nothing; older tabs step aside; data from a newer app is refused with a notice instead of an empty app; a reload activates a waiting update first. - Layout 2: every card record carries all its fields. - The editor's frames strip is one «animation frame» button for a still picture; frames are numbered once there are two. An empty canvas is not signed. - The scanner's words stay inside the corners while the camera is off; without camera access the frame says so and asks again on a tap. - Give (in place of Import): one's own cards with the code ready, on the card's paper via the share sheet's own component; a row of one's cards below to choose from. - Every share now offers a link, a .pips file (the same envelope as the code) and, for one's own card, the picture as a PNG. Receiving a .pips file takes envelopes as well as the older bare cards. - The editor's More starts a new card: blank, or from a picture. Pixel art up to 64×64 goes onto the canvas as it is (centred if not square); larger pictures and photos go through a square crop moved by a finger and sized by its corners. One undo brings the old picture back. - «New from it» on one's own card opens its picture as a new card. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- «Picture» now makes the card as a picture (1080×1440): the paper, the drawing, its name and artist, and the code when one code holds it. The same envelope goes inside the PNG (a chunk of its own, png-card.js), so any card, one's own or not, can be given this way. - Pips opens such a picture as the card itself, signed: from Scan → «From picture» or «.pips file» as the file was sent, or by the code on it after a messenger re-encoded it. In the editor, «From a picture» offers to add the card to the collection first. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The code on a card picture sits on the paper without a white box: dark modules in the card's ink, softened toward its grey as far as a 7:1 contrast allows; on dark papers a light ground in the ink's colour with modules in the paper's. It is larger (3+ px a module) and is tested to read on all eight papers after JPEG, at full size and at three quarters. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
- The code on a card picture sits on a small rounded ground on every paper, light ones too: the paper lightened, the modules in its ink. - The nodding mushroom samples: the dark edge under the cap belonged to the stem, so it stayed behind when the cap sank. It is the cap's now. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
