Problem or use case

We can add a settings toggle which allows users to use vim keybinds in the chat text field.

Proposed solution

A toggle button in the settings to enable vim keybinds, off by default.

It should only affect the chat input text field.

Why this matters

Enables a greater degree of freedom while editing chat messages. Improves UX.

Smallest useful scope

Button to toggle vim mode for chat input.
