Hi! I really like Brutus, especially its Material 3 Expressive interface and the QR-code alarm challenge.
I felt that the current app icon could better reflect the visual style of the application, so I created an alternative concept as a small UI/UX design exercise.
The concept uses a bold geometric “B”, a red Material-inspired palette, and rounded background shapes to make the icon feel more expressive while retaining the strong character of the Brutus name.
This is currently a raster concept rather than a finished production asset. If you like the general direction, I would be happy to refine it based on your feedback and prepare the necessary adaptive and monochrome variants.
