Use serde-derive + toml crate for robust parsing of the external config file instead of the manual line-by-line parser. Adds serde, toml, and serde_json dependencies and proper parse error messages.
Report now derives Serialize, includes a timestamp as the first line, and gains a to_json() method. The CLI accepts --json to print a pretty-printed JSON report instead of plain text, enabling SOC pipeline consumption.
Platform persistence checks now read recent_file_days from the optional UserConfig and fall back to the RECENT_FILE_DAYS constant, instead of a hardcoded 3-day window. Lets operators tune scan depth per deployment.
Populates tests/integration.rs with 11 tests covering Report behavior (timestamp, section, flag, JSON serialization), config loading (valid, malformed), the recent-files scanner, per-platform pattern constants, and config override preservation. Brings total to 14 passing tests.
Runs cargo fmt --check, clippy with -D warnings, tests, and release build on ubuntu-latest, windows-latest, and macos-latest with dependency caching.
Mark CI, structured output, test coverage, and CONTRIBUTING as complete in the roadmap; document --json usage, note heuristic-only limitations, and record completed commit history in PROGRESS.md.
