Adds a runnable Parallel Search MCP example for searching the web and fetching page excerpts without API keys. From a repository checkout, install the example’s Gemfile and run
search.rb search "query"orsearch.rb fetch "URL". It uses the native streamable HTTP client and discovered MCP tools directly, without model inference. Existing configuration stays unchanged. Anonymous access is intended for light use and has lower rate limits.I work at Parallel. For context, here are Artificial Analysis’s Search API benchmarks.
Tested: clean dependency installation, anonymous tool discovery, search and fetch through the documented CLI, and outgoing endpoint and User-Agent headers.
