This abuses the fact that one of the env variables aren't defined in Windows / macOS / Linux. This won't work for any Windows users who have
${HOME}defined, but generally that's a small subset from the overall users vs. none working on Windows currently.Note
Low Risk
Plugin packaging and MCP launch configuration only; no runtime app or security-sensitive logic changes.
Overview
Bumps the Paper Cursor plugin to 0.2.2 and fixes MCP startup on Windows by changing how the Paper CLI path is resolved in
mcp.cursor.json.The MCP
commandno longer uses${userHome}; it uses${env:HOME}${env:USERPROFILE}so the path expands to the user home on Unix (HOME) or Windows (USERPROFILE), with the other variable empty. The binary path remains~/.paper/bin/paperwithmcpargs.Reviewed by Cursor Bugbot for commit 4ef0f8e. Bugbot is set up for automated code reviews on this repo. Configure here.
