scripts/check_crux_serve_code.sh: the _cleanup reap loop has no test #5107
Non-blocking review note on #5073 at 1b0e8c3: the _cleanup reap loop in scripts/check_crux_serve_code.sh has no test. Add a test that exercises the reap path, so a change to the loop cannot silently stop reaping.
Folded into #5324 as a checklist row (TRIAGE-100, 2026-10-14): the open-ticket cap is 100, so this ticket is now tracked on that master and closed as not planned. Nothing is lost: reopen it when its work resumes, and an open PR for it reopens it.
