Add a service worker to reduce round trips and to add browser-side caching of the site. Plus potential option to redirect from the service worker with path based URLs.
This could reduce server side load for a system that's otherwise completely client sided.

FYI, speaking from a bit of experience with service workers for client side applications. It does meaningfully reduce network traffic. Which could help with overall hosting cost. As repeat users would effectively be free.
